Antonia Sanjorge's Online Review Report Card

My son was admitted to the hospital at a month old for sepsis (causes by a UTI). Dr. Jorge did a great job being thorough with the tests, but she always seemed as if she was in a rush. Thankfully I’m a parent that asks questions, but if I was not she wouldn’t of explained a thing. She is HIGHLY opinionated, and she does not do a very good job with communicating her opinions, or considering anyone else’s point of view other than her own. She is also VERY quick to prescribe medications, so please be aware of what it is she is prescribing your child and the reason behind it. My son has been on 3 different antibiotics when first admitted, and then changed to one after they found what type of bacteria caused the sepsis. He developed a rash soon after, and Dr. Jorge immediately deemed it as herpes. Never said that it could’ve been anything else, and immediately started him on antiviral medications.

Very unprofessional Doctor with a nasty personality and no humane values, should not have became a pediatrician. After trying to reach her for 2 and a half week about a critical prescription my son needs due to a brain infection he had when he was born she hang up the phone on me and told me that it was not her problem and that she was not going to see our child any more. Very cold and distant doctor to work with kids, do not take your kids to her there are many others better than her.

Dr San Jorge has been a great doctor for my children. She has always taken the time to explain things and answer any questions I have and was quick to get back to me when I had a question. I highly recommend her.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. San Jorge. My 2 y/0 daughter was hospitalized with a RSV that lead her to a serious asthma. Dr. San Jorge explained everything in detail, addressed all questions we had and prescribed her with a very aggressive treatment to make sure my daughter was recovered and able to breath before going home. Moreover, she also made sure we were able to get all medications we needed. Dr. San Jorge went above and beyond. We were truly blessed to be seen by her!

Very rude and cold attitude, hang up on me after trying to reach her for 2 and a half weeks when i was trying to ask for the follow up of my kid which had an herpes virus encephalitis and needed a prescription medicine.

Dr San Jorge has helped my children on several occasions. She took her time to explain complicated medical issues and I liked her common sense approach. I was fortunate to find her.

I was fortunate to have Dr San Jorge see my child. She was very thorough with testing and spent a great deal of time explaining what we wanted to know. Would highly recommend her.

Dr. San Jorge is all we could have hoped for in an pediatric infectious specialist. She went out of her way to treat our child and solve the problem. She spent time to patiently answer our questions with kindness, respect and in a sympathetic way. If you are looking for a knowledgable, reputable pediatric specialist who treats your child with kindness, ensuring that the child is healthy again, Dr. San Jorge is the one. She is the best. These sentiments are always echoed by other patients too.

Dr. Antonia San Jorge is absolutely the best doctor. Over the years, I have suffered on and off from one infection or another and called her for help. She was fast at getting back to me, always helpful and kind and gave me the best treatment. I just turned 18 and need to find an adult primary care physician, but I want to thank her for the great care she provided to me – absolutely the best care. She is all I could had wanted for from a pediatrician. Thank you Dr. San Jorge!

She is an excellent doctor. Treated my son with professionalism and humanity. Excellent intensive care doctor for the Baptist General. I will recommend her 200%
