List of Armando Rivero's Reviews
well educated, really always put patient first ., very truthful and to the point. what i really like about him is that never in a hurry takes whatever time needs to take.
Excelencia tanto en su profesonalismo como en el trato que sus asistentes prodigan a los pacientes.
Dr Rivero has been the best PCP I’ve had in many years. I’m having to change insurance now and my only demand to my sales rep is Dr Rivero has to be on the plan. He doesn’t throw pills and pills at me, he listens and asks many questions and is very thorough. I highly recommend him.
The office staff is organized, efficient, professional and pleasant at all times. The doctors at this practice may be knowledgeable and competent, but they should take some lessons from their own staff on how to talk TO people and not talk AT people.
We have been patients for many years and have always been provided with excellent care by Dr. Rivero and his staff. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. You can count on efficient and quality care. Dr. Rivero has been very attentive with my mother which is priceless. We are very grateful and highly recommend this office.
I have been a patient of Dr. Rivero for over a decade now and would like to speak to the integrity and trustworthiness that is demonstrated on a daily basis not only from Dr. Rivero, but from all of his staff. From my most difficult times and diagnosis to my yearly exams, I have always experienced only the best service and care through their knowledge and compassion. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking high quality care.
Good Morning, I have been debating I am writing this review to speak of how displeased and upset I have become as a result of the way to conduct business or lack thereof of this Primary Care and the reason I will not continue using them as my PCP. I returned from Vacation from Spain Europe on the 03/12/2020 promptly after President's Trump announcement of closing all flights from Europe to US as a result of the COVID-19 crisis I had been there since 03/07/2020. I was feeling cold symptoms since 03/09/2020 but I had no temperature but when I got home shortly after I started experiencing additional symptoms similar to COVID-19, I had shortness of Breath, difficulty breathing, chest pain when moving, my throat hurt from coughing and I had episodes of high fever and phlegm which is not related to COVID19 but considering I have sleep apnea condition and I use a CPAP machine I seeked medical help immediately. I called my doctor Tatiana Lawer-Garcia the administrative said that they they didn’t carry out COVID-19 testing and to contact the Department of Health telephone number, I called them and they said that I had to talk to my PCP and that my PCP would help me get tested. I called again my PCP and they again told me that no that they didn’t carry out testing and that they didn’t know why the Department of Health would have sent me over to them and gave me local information of the department of Health, I called the Local location of the department of Health and they told me that I had to contact my PCP (same information as the National line) or call a Hospital or Urgent Care first and then visit. I called a third time to the office of Tatiana Lawer-Garcia and they told me to call any Urgent Care or Hospital, I called my insurer to ask them which Hospital or Urgent care to go for this treatment and they were unable to provide proper information of how to get diagnosis Treatment for COVID19 so they referred me to the CDC, I called the CDC and they again for a third time referred me to my PCP with the kind of tests that I needed to get done two swab tests one in my throat and one in my nose. All this time I could not understand why every single official Medical authority was turning me to my doctor and my PCP the whole time seemed like they were cleaning their hands, how could they not provide the proper information for their patients? Anyway at the end I got tested at the Baptist hospital and I came out Negative. Three weeks later (I have been in Total Isolation since coming back from Spain) I cut the sole of my foot and it was getting infected and I couldn’t really see it so I called Miami Primary Care again and the Administrative after finding out who I was first put me on hold for over 20 min, afterwards they transfer my call to this Administrative superior and she started to tell me how my insurance did not cover this kind of cure, to which frustrated I said that was not true, that I have Cigna and that I did not understand why they were refusing to provide service for me (I felt completely discriminated) I told her I was COVID19 Negative and was so upset at their blatant discrimination that I said I would make a complaint to the Health Department for their handling of this situation, she shouted at me (completely out of order), how did I dare threaten them and I said I was not threatening that in fact I was going to make a complaint. After putting me on hold for 3 to 5 minutes they told to go so that they could take a look at my foot. I have since received a letter that they will not provide service to me anymore which totally fine because obviously after what has transpired wouldn’t feel comfortable for this office caring for my medical needs when they failed to provide service when I most needed it (COVID19 testing, proper testing information) and profiled me based on my illness to refuse later treatments to the point that I had to say that I was going to complain to the Department of health in order to get treated.
If you request help with Covid19 testing they will not only not help you because they kept sending me to others when the Department of Health, Cigna, CDC were all telling me to go to my Doctor. After I was taken care of at Urgent Care at Baptist and my results came back negative 3 weeks later I needed a cure on my foot and theu did not want to see me they said that the cure was not covered by my insurance!!!! Which was a lie and when i said that I was going to make a complaint to the Board of Medicine that is when they said that they would see me. (After screaming at me for daring to threat them) unbelievable.

Long story short they did not want to service me because they knew I had called previously for them to help me with COVID19 testing or Testing information and they failed to help me in any way sending me to the department of health, when the Department of Health (National and Local) Cigna and CDC where telling me my MD should be the one helping me. Weeks later after I knew I was negative they profiled me and refused to cure a cut on my foot telling me Cigna did not cover it which is not true in order to avoid me going to their office effectively profiling me even after tested COVID19 Negative. Obviously after what has transpired wouldn't feel comfortable for this office caring for my medical needs when they failed to provide service when I most needed it (COVID19 testing, proper testing information) and profiled me based on my illness to refuse later treatments to the point that I had to say that I was going to complain to the Department of health in order to get treated.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
