List of Armor Correctional Health Services's Reviews
I have tried 10 different times to get someone on the phone. NO ONE EVER PICKS UP SO I HAVE NO CHOICE . Please I’m trying to speak to someone in Human Resources to get a contact email to get some payroll documents. Also want to change my withholding in paylocity. Rosa Blanco no longer works with the company so why is her contact information still being used. Why. This is very unprofessional and I hope you all at corporate don’t do like the people at my worksite look at the number that show up and don’t answer the phone. All i can do is shake my head.
I will give one star, because I enjoyed working with the officers and many of the nursing staff. I've gained leadership skills and many other skills while working for Armor. However, the issue is management and leadership. They are really focused on numbers. The reason they focus on numbers so much, is because they have time frames for patient assignment task to be completed. If the task are not completed within a reasonable time frame, the company they're contracted with will fine them for any overdue task. So, I understand why they're so focused on numbers. Unfortunately, when i began my position in the lab drawing all the blood for Pretrial detention facility, they had a back log of over 600 labs that were overdue plus new labs that were being ordered by Health Care Providers. I was constantly in the office about numbers, but their concern wasn't about sending someone to help me, but made me feel as if I was the problem, when the there was a problem before I even started the position. I was coached about numbers without any help. That particular job is a two - three person job. They finally sent someone to help me after I sent an email and spoke to them about going PRN. Which was cool, because we got the numbers down to zero. They're always short, can't never keep staff. There was a day where there wasn't a diabetic nurse at the jail, and went am entire day without a diabetic nurse. They're not just short, but JSO is short on staff as well. If the company took pride in listening to the staff and actually tried to understand, and work with them, they would keep staff and would b e able to deliver services to the population that they are serving. They have an extreme turnover rate, and many contracts have been lost with several sheriffs office. I suggest before working for any company do your research before making commitments. Learn about their workplace culture, understand that there will always be politics, and just know that every person in leadership, leadership style is different. I will not give a really bad review, because I did learn and gained skills. However, if you do your research then you can determine if you would like to work with this company. Lastly, do your research on all media outlets. Go on indeed and glassdoor look at employee reviews.
It’s really funny how all the great reviews are coming from the corporate office! Armour has lost many contracts due to their lying and deceitful practices. A lot of incompetent people, a lot of in custody deaths, a lot of coverups. If they are so great, why are they losing so many contracts?
Armor is a great company. I have worked at Armor for the past 7 years. My co-workers are friendly and leadership is understanding and supportive. I look forward to many more years at this great company.
Great Work Environment! We are like Family. Everyone is very respectful and caring. They believe in Work life balance. I would recommend any one to work for Armor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
