Facing cancer is facing the unknown. It is a scary experience full of uncertainty. This is the reason you NEED a support system. Your family becomes your protective barrier and greatest support. Friends shine as your chosen family. Then, there is the team at MCI. The highlight here has been Maggie Varena. The care & compassion she shows is at a higher level. If there was a Leader to train others on what a cancer patient needs, it should be Maggie. She turns a scary situation and normalizes it, turning it even into something pleasant. While some lack that personal touch and care, people like Maggie exceed in patient care, yes, even in Miami!

Everyone at MCI is very welcoming. They are all so kind especially the nurses, techs & doctors. Shout out to Dr. Iparraguirre, Jorlany Martinez & Tonya Jones for comforting me during a very scary procedure. Thank you ladies & may God bless you!

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would! My mother is dealing with the breast cancer floor and needing a biopsy surgery that has been set up since September for January 13, 2026. This week has been nothing but confusion and disorganization on their side that has caused nothing but stress and more nervous energy on a patient at a time that she does not need it! As I write this i am on hold...for last 30 minutes....trying toget a supervisor. Not holding my breath that they will even find one! Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe what i feel about this place.

The hospital and treatment in itself might be top notch. But I cannot say the same for the staff and personnel. Just awful … rude , disrespectful behaviour , and lack of empathy. Staff does not talk to one another so everyone just seems lost. And As another reviewer reported , you’re just another number.
