If there is a zero stars that would be applicable for this Baptist Hospital. Getting some one to talk to schedule an appointment is simply impossible.  The prompts goes straight to voicemail.  Even after 10days no one returns the call to schedule an appointment.  In my country, there is a saying, which is .a person is sent to pharmacy to get medicines for a sick patient, but he/she returns with the medicines which were prescribed by the doctor to the monthly ceremony of the departed soul for 1 yr.   It is that extremely slow response if there is one at all.  Never experienced this before in NY/NJ area after living in this country for 30yrs.  Feel like the response from the the presidents office is much more faster than getting a response from the doctors office at Baptist Hospital. Shame on them for making the patients going in circles and calling the doctors office every day and leaving a message.  This is how they make money probably by making peoples blood pressure go up and visit a dr. if one can get it or end up in an emergency.

I took my sister there yesterday, she’s been very sick. She was treated so rudely by the staff in the ER. Discharged with very high blood pressure and when we asked about his the nurse started snatching the IV out of her arm. My sister was begging them to help her and they still treated her like their garbage!

Since Sunday, my wife's daughter was admitted to the hospital today and the orthopedic doctor did not give any guidance, medications or indications for physical therapy, he told the nurse and called another Dr and gave some guidance that is not useful for nothing and the girl screaming at the hospital and at home and they sent her home, in 5 days if the orthopedic went 3 times to see her it was a lot, summary they will charge the insurance thousands of dollars for nothing, pure scam but I'm going to call the insurance so they don't pay them, what a lack of humanity, what a lack of respect for medicine, humanity has everything, I have to take her to another hospital, I feel that they scam the health insurance, the people have all, the only thing that matters to them is money. Desde el domingo, la hija de mi esposa fue ingresada hoy en el hospital y el médico ortopédico no dio ninguna orientación, medicamentos o indicaciones de fisioterapia, le dijo a la enfermera y llamó a otro Dr. y le dio algunas orientaciones que no sirven para nada y la niña. gritando en el hospital y en casa y la mandaron a casa, en 5 días si el ortopedista fue 3 veces a verla era mucho, resumen le van a cobrar al seguro miles de dólares por nada, pura estafa pero voy a llamen al seguro para que no les paguen, que falta de humanidad, que falta de respeto a la medicina, la humanidad lo tiene todo, tengo que llevarla a otro hospital, siento que estafan al seguro de salud, la gente tiene todos, lo único que les importa es el dinero.

If ever, I have to go to a hospital, do NOT take me to this hospital. ESPECIALLY to Miami Cancer. It's an assembly line. A big $$$$ money maker. The patient is only an inconvienience. They have forgotten the patient and only worry about the convienance of the doctor and the hospital personnel. The nurses are blind sheep. If you ask them why they are doing a test or procedure, thier eyes glaze over and they say they don't know. It's "procedure". It's all about the $$$$. If it wasn't for the fact that cancer and chemo are such big revenue, a cure would have been found years ago instead of these draconian procedures!
