Clueless rude doctor with zero desire to help his patients are ability to listen.

At first visit he listened and was attentive. As the interview progressed, he became quite pompous and talked over me to the point of telling me my info from Auburn University School of Med was not legitimate. After several exchanged portal e-mails, he denied giving me conflicting opinions, and began to be non-responsive to my e-mails. His medical assistant became the same. I am considering changing neurologists at UHealth, Miami.

At first, Dr. Baumel listened and was attentive. As the Zoom visit progressed, he became quite pompous and told me Auburn University School of Medicine's research on cognitive health was not legitimate. He replied to a couple of patient portal e-mails which included denying giving me conflicting opinions. I am considering changing neurologists at UHealth in Miami.

We saw Dr. Baumel this week. My husband suffers from Alzheimer’s. We could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we saw Dr. Baumel, we knew we were in great hands. He took a long time asking questions, listening, and explaining. A great, caring doctor. We felt reassured.
