I have the utmost praise for Dr. Shagalov and her practice. I had never been to a dermatologist before & decided it was time to get a skin check. She noticed a few very small but questionable moles & flagged them for a re-check a few months later. Fast forward a few months, and she decides to biopsy one of them. The practice called later that week to tell me I needed a skin excision. Naturally, I was terrified as this was my first experience with anything like this. They got me in quickly, and I cannot express enough how safe and reassured Dr. Shagalov & her team made me feel. The process was scary, but they took such amazing care of me the entire time. My scar was large post-procedure, but 6 months later, you can barely see it as she provided me with a great follow-up plan. Generally, she is extremely thorough and obviously cares immensely about her craft and patients. She is upbeat, friendly & does a great job at clearly explaining what's going on. I will be moving out of state soon and am so sad to be leaving her care - she is the best doctor I've ever had across any medical specialty. Not to mention this is the most beautiful office I've ever been to. I also want to give a special shoutout to the assistants here, specifically the woman who was with me during my procedure (I wish I could remember her name). She could tell how scared I was and went above and beyond to comfort and support me. I will never forget her care and amazing bedside manners (that span across the entire practice). 10/10 would recommend Biscayne Derm to anyone looking.

Highly recommend. Have seen nearly 10 derms in the area and have never felt like they listened to or addressed my concerns with even close to the amount of care she has. The plan she created for me was also customized such that I didn't have to overspend on unnecessary treatments (exceedingly rare in Miami), and she made sure I felt like everything that bothered me was addressed during the procedures. I’ve had skin issues since I was 10 years old and have seen what feels like a million dermatologists across eight different states. This is, without question, the best care I’ve ever received. They truly go above and beyond. I get check-in texts to see how I’m doing and I can even send photos if I want. They’re always available for quick online visits if something urgent comes up, and they genuinely take the time not just to treat symptoms but to figure out what’s actually going on underneath. My appointments are never rushed. If I’m in and out, great. If I have a lot of questions, they take all the time I need. I’ve also never waited more than two minutes for an appointment. Danielle is incredible and has honestly changed my life. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Scheduling is easy and flexible, and they clearly don’t overbook, which is why wait times are nonexistent and getting an appointment isn’t a hassle. Everything is focused on quality care, not a burn-and-churn setup. Kate assisted Danielle during my last two visits and was extremely helpful. The front-of-house staff is also fantastic. Everyone is kind and welcoming. Special shoutout to the young woman with the really pretty eyes and septum piercing. Whoever you are, you deserve a raise!! Thank you to the entire team for turning what’s usually a frustrating experience into something genuinely positive.
