NEEDS A COURSE IN HUMAN INTERACTION. RUDE TO PATIENTS AND CO-WORKERS
Dr. Miranda-Palma replaced my previous physician, who left the University of Miami. Even though it was difficult to secure an appointment, I’m glad I persevered. The UM Lennar facility has great parking and very convenient. Her staff was very friendly and efficient. The day of my visit, I was surprised that I didn’t have to wait at all. Dr. Miranda-Palma was systematically detailed in her examination and at no time I felt rushed. During my visit she listened and patiently answered my questions, explaining my condition well and her health plan of action. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service I received from Dr. Miranda-Palma.
Overbooks, no time for patients, cant get an appt., have to see non doctors in her office.
Dr knowledgeable and able to inform management plan. Patient interaction needs work. Was openly irritated about repeat telehealth visits. Body language demonstrated frustration with patient rather than patient-centered focus. Office nearly impossible to get in contact with and unhelpful once finally reached.
I have experienced the most unprofessional and disrespectful event with this doctor's office. I made my appointment months in advance and confirmed my attendance multiple times (x3 text response). I attend my appointment as scheduled and they tell me she simply can't see me because she has too many patients. The audacity! I take time off work and drive across town in traffic for this appointment. My time is just as valuable as theirs. The best part, I ask when I can be reschedule and the next appointment is in 3 months. It is very unfortunate that we are treated in this manner. If the doctor can't see so many patients in one day, then don't schedule them or don't take on so many patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
