Carlos Vallejo's Online Review Report Card

Total fraud! First I call to ensure my PPO insurance is taken, girl taking the call told me she would verify and get back to me. Then, she calls me back and as she’s “supposedly” making my appointment (mind you, she jumped and said “you can come right now)” like they’re desperate for clients or something, i decline but set an appointment to have an EKG ONLY, Bc she said my insurance was accepted and I only had a copay off some odd dllrs. So I ask again, are you sure I’m not going to get a bill for anything else??? She confirms 100% no. Then when I arrive, she is very weird, off almost but I almost felt bad for her, so I remained being respectful. The ekg she used real tape because supposedly the stickers didn’t stick. Long story short, I just received a bill for (a medical practice address I didn’t not attend) no copayment on the EOB and a beautiful charge of $180! And the copay? Where is the trace of that?? Or did she pocket my money?? I am beyond insulted and offended. The front desk girl or girls (Bc there was two) were both lost as bats and were worried about their “boss” calling in telling them to attend to billing or lord knows what. So don’t waste your time. If they can’t confirm your copayment and insurance, imagine a diagnosis. Thank you for stealing my money!

My appointment was for 10am. Their office opens at 10am. I was there early and filled out their forms. I was the only patient waiting until 10:08. By 10:40, the waiting room was full. I went to the front desk and asked if the doctor was even in. The woman working the front desk told me that the doctor does not normally show up until 11am or 11:30. The doctor was not late because of some emergency; the doctor works at other locations doing stuff like physical therapy before seeing patients at this location. The doctor thinks that it's acceptable to schedule appointments and then show up an hour and a half late. Behavior like that makes Dr. Vallejo incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. When I schedule meetings for work, I do not routinely show up to them over an hour late. I wholly recommend avoiding this doctor and this office.

The best doctor a person could ever ask for. Who really takes the time and interest in his patients. it was a pleasure to work with him for 3 years & love the ambiance in the office. Not many doctors are made like him anymore, so definitely take the time to visit the office.

Over 2 hours waiting. No one has gone in or out in 2 hours!!!! The front desk girl has no idea what is going on and refuses to find out. Eventually had to get a refund. Unprofessional and a huge waste of time. Don't come here if you actually want to get seen by a doctor. There are dozens of other general practitioners even in this small area. Go to ANY of them over this one.

Charlie is an amazing physician with heart very hard to find docs with those qualities these days! Two thumbs up doc you're awesome!
