Dr. Spurdle treated my son and it was a smooth and seamless experience. I felt well informed and comfortable trusting my son to him. He ended up needing surgery and I felt confident trusting him to do a good job.

Dr. Spurdle has been taking care of my daughter since she tore her ACL last year. He’s been really helpful in her recovery, and has been very understanding of here all throughout this process. Me and my daughter are very happy with the surgery results. Dr. Spurdle really is the best orthopedic surgeon.

When our daughter (13) dislocated her kneecap during sports (gymnastics/cheer), we were strongly urged a visit to Nicklaus Children's - and we were fortunate enough to meet with Dr. Spurdle. Not only is he an ortho surgeon, he is also a sports medicine specialist. So, he completely understood and shared our desire to make a full recovery back to sports level. He took the cautious approach with high-def x-rays, MRI, and at each step we kept getting good news that the injury wasn't as bad as we thought. He made sure our daughter understood the importance of doing 3x a week of physical therapy with full effort, and sure enough, she's back to pre-injury form (perhaps even a little stronger). Dr. Spurdle and his team took a lot of stress out of a fairly scary moment by talking us through everything and truly listening to our concerns.
