I waited there 2 hours to be called in even though I had an appointment.I asked the front desk how much longer should I have to wait and they told me I still had a patient before me.I waited 20 more minutes and said patient was never called.Instead somebody that had just came in was called inside.Needles to say,I left.I don’t know why they bother giving out appointments when they don’t plan to stick to the those.

JUNE 2nd AT 10:00AM I WAS SCHEDULED FOR A CONOLOSCOPY AND THE DOCTOR NEVER SHOWED UP. 15 MINUTES PASSED AND WAS TOLD I COULD HAVE IT DONE THAT MORNING AT ANOTHER CLINIC THAT I DID NOT KNOW. CONTACTED DR. MARIN'S OFFICE AND ASKED THAT SHE RETURN MY CALL. TO THIS DATE I AM STILL WAITING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE.

Yet another bad review for Ms Cristina Marin & her rude staff, they call me two days prior to my appointment to tell me to have my PCP send them my referral, after waiting over 2 months for this appointment, luckily my PCP worked fast enough to get my referral there on time so I can get seen, so the day of my appointment, I have a 3:30pm appointment, I get there 10 minutes prior 3:30pm & I walk into a small room full of people, (a Covid cesspool ) I wanna say about 30 people inside this small room & none had masks on, also people hanging out in front of the door. So everyone outside the office explained to me they have been waiting since 12pm, I then go to the window & ask how long will it take the doctor to see me for my consultation, no answer was given to me then to make matters worse the rude lady behind the window pretty much dismissed me telling me I can leave if I don’t wanna wait, Very unprofessional people & practice. They’re acting like the service is free or something & no consideration of my time as if my time isn’t worth anything. My referral letter came with the doctors name on it vs coming with multiple doctor names so I can pick and choose who I want. As if their was a conflict of interest, I will call my insurance & hospital & make a complaint as you should so hopefully they stop referring her business because they don’t deserve it.

It took almost 2 hours to see doctor having a scheduled appointment. My bringing attention to this was met with a shrug and was told that I could leave. And I did. Poor scheduling management and no concern for customer time.

The day of the Colonoscopy (after going thru the uncomfortable preparation 20 hours earlier) I was informed that Dr. Marin was not present (I assumed an emergency) I was surprised and upset since NO ONE AT HER OFFICE OR THE GASTRO OFFICE EVER CALLED ME, OR TEXTED OR EMAILED ME. ON THE SPOT I WAS OFFERED TO GO TO ANOTHER CENTER AND GO THROUGH THE PROCEEDURE WITH ANOTHER (UNKNOWN) DOCTOR, WHICH I DID NOT KNOW SO I DECLINED. AFTERWARDS, I CALLED DR. MARIN, EXPLAINED TO HER STAFF WHAT HAS HAPPENED, THEY MANTAINED THEY HAD CONTACTED ME OF THE CANCELLATION, A TOTAL LIE, I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR DR. MARIN HERSELF TO CALL ME. AS OF TODAY JUNE 9 SHE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. AGAIN I CALLED A FEW MINUTES AGO TO SPEAK WITH DR. MARIN AND TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT WITH DR. ABREU FOR THE FOLLOW UP, AND ONCE AGAIN I GOT THE SAME REPLY, THAT THE DAY BEFORE THE PROCEEDURE SOMEONE CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE. CONCLUSION, DR. MARIN STAFF AS WELL AS THE ONE AT GASTRO HEALTH, NOT ONLY ARE THEY LIERS BUT TOTAL INCOMPENTENT. SUMMARY: KNOWING HOW INVASIVE AND SENSITIVE THIS PROCEEDURE IS, TO WHOEVER READS THIS REVIEW, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT THEY USE A DIFFERENT GASTROENTEROLOGIST AND CENTER FOR THEIR CONOLOSCOPY, EXACTLY WHAT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DOING.

Above and Beyond! Dr. Marin provided the best care for me and showed genuine and professional care every time. Very human and generous doctor that truly cares for her patients. Her staff has been number one every time, the best doctor staff I ever encountered.

For the past 6 months Dr Marin has provided me with expert and sensible care for a critical health condition. During my first visit, she intensely listen to me about my health issues while taking an in depth health history. Even on her busiest days, she clearly recalls my history, looks up any needed details & addresses all of my questions. During all of my office visits, I have found Dr Marin has been a very positive & reassuring, honest & compassionate medical professional. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Although I feel the quality of all the medical service provided is 5 stars, I give 4 stars as my overall rating because there has always been a very long delay in the office appointment schedule.

Dr. Marin was great. She is very informative and diagnosed my problem correctly. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Went to see Dr. Marin with stomach pains and diarrhea and she never even examined me and just scheduled endoscopy and colonocopy. Following week, I had to be rushed from ER to hospital to have laparoscopic appendectomy. I had peritonitis. She shows grotesque display of unprofessionalism and played with my life. She does not care about her patients and only cares about the money.
