If i could give him negative stars i would! He is a horrific doctor, 37 years in the Field of medicine, and he told me he does not order MRI imaging because he has trouble reading them. I had an accidental finding of a mass growing on my superior mediastinum via MRI and the IDIOT told me he couldn't really see the imaging, because the contrast apparently was blocking out the imaging. i was not happy with my answer and i left with more questions than i walked in with, he wiped his Literal butt with my expectations says he gives patients. 37 years in the field, chief of Surgery and all and could not use two brain cells of whatever he has sitting in his skull, to figure out if he would not read the imaging, to reorder it, i Told him i was having chest pain and dizzy spells and everything and you think he even listened to my chest with a stethoscope? But my Chart Documentation says that he apparently listened to my chest and did an examination. He's A Liar.

Dr. Nguyen is a rock star. He handled with precision and compassion the daunting prospect of removing the upper lobe of my left lung due to the cancerous tumors therein. His renowned skill with robotic surgery resolved my problem cleanly and efficiently. My recovery is highly manageable and problem free with a minimum of discomfort and a minimum of pain meds prescribed to effectively address any discomfort. He and the entire Sylvester U of Miami staff have made negotiating this whole process quick, smoothly run and highly caring. I am now cancer free and enjoying a fruitful, active life.

I had an Upper Lobe Lung Lobectomy with Dr. Nguyen. Never felt any pain nor any major side effect. He is an amazing Doctor and amazing human being. To me he is an angel.

Dr. Nguyen was my brother's doctor in 2017. He had multiple surgeries in one to combat tumors from cancer. He had part of his lung removed and some ribs removed simultaneously. After surgery, there was NO pain medication ready for him. My poor brother was left to suffer for hours before any type of pain medication was offered. Although I stood by his side waiting, calling the nurse (who was horrible) and called Dr. Nguyen multiple times. Several hours later, Dr. Nguyen finally showed up to look at my brother, and about an hour later there was finally pain medication brought up. That lasted for about six hours. I went home only to return the next day to find out they ran out of meds again in the middle of the night. So my brother was again left suffering four quite some time. My brother died last May and this still haunts me. I should have left this review sooner. No one should be left without pain medications after any type of major surgery (especially the torso area).

Unbelievable doctor. Such kindness, humility, and compassion in an individual is rare to come across these days. He has cured me of lung cancer and I will be forever grateful to be alive because of his expertise in the field. Thank you Dr Nguyen.

For those unfortunate enough to have suffered metastatic lung cancer, Dr. Nguyen is a man of miracles. He is extremely caring, professional, and thorough in his work and has a humble personality. Having been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, I was under his care for several days. He would come and see how I was doing during the weekends and even twice during the day occasionally. He has high standards of providing the optimum patient care and strives to improve the quality of life of his patients. Above all, he takes the time to sit down and talk to you regarding the surgery and prognosis of disease unlike any other physician I have ever met. He also treats everyone from nurses to residents with respect. A true professor of his profession.
