List of David Edwards's Reviews
Initially I was satisfied, but not thrilled with Dr Edwards. I chose him because of his holistic approach, but was quickly unimpressed. In short, I needed work in all 4 quarters of my mouth, to be done in phases to the tune of over $10,000. Over the course of 10 months, I got the first 3/4 of my mouth done with two more appointments scheduled for the autumn because I go north for the summer and they were booking 2-3 months in advance. At the end of the summer, I was still in Maine when Dr. Edwards receptionist ja (yes, her name is spelled with a lowercase "j") messaged to say that I would need to have a cleaning done almost immediately because their policy is to drop patients who don't do hygiene within one year of their first visit. I protested because (1) I was 1200 miles away, and (2) I had an appointment scheduled for early October to address the last 1/4 of my mouth with other appointments scheduled through the autumn. I did not feel happy or comfortable getting hygiene done on potentially brittle teeth. I said I'd feel better scheduling the hygiene appointment for the week after the restoration in October. Ja said no, that was against their company policy. She bullied me into making a hygiene appointment for later the same week so I rearranged my travel plans, packed my bags, and told them I was ending my vacation weeks early to drive from Maine to Florida just for this appointment. While I was on the road driving south, ja called me (23 hours before my scheduled appointment) to cancel and tell me that Dr. Edwards would be dropping me as a patient because I had been non-compliant with their company's policies. I told her I was 500 miles away from anywhere, had rearranged travel plans to make this appointment for hygiene that she had strong-armed me into, I had confirmed the appt through their booking system, and that I was still within the one year window, so had not violated any policies. I could hear ja give a satisfied giggle when I told her how this had inconvenienced me. In the end, I am glad and grateful that I don't do business with those folks anymore. Their policies are not compassionate or friendly to the client and the dentistry is mediocre at best. Also, Dr Edwards damaged a tooth that he was restoring, then told me it would need to be addressed again because he had made the wall too thin. That was to cost plenty extra, but after a second opinion, yes, Edwards had damaged my tooth by taking away more than necessary, but no, it did not need additional restoration.
I have been very impressed with this practice for the more than 13 years I've been going there. They do everything right!! Whenever I've had an issue, they've gotten me in right away. Dr. Edwards and his staff are kind and caring. I love my conversations with them each visit. I've learned as much about supplements for my health as I have about my teeth. LOL. I've read a couple of negative reviews and obviously those people were not kind in their approach because they are not describing the office accurately! The one star on here is from a different Dr David Edwards, he's in AZ, not FL. I wouldn't go or trust anyone else! Thank you Dr. Edwards and staff!!
I would highly recommend Dr Edwards at Mt Sinai ER. He was very professional & thorough in treating my daughter’s severe abdominal & back pain. The staff at Mt Sinai was also great.
I had a great experience at Dr. Edwards office. Everyone is super nice and friendly. My dental chair had a wonderful view of the lake and sunrise. I am a "WHY" person and want to know and see everything . He and his nurses took the time to explain everything and show me. I really appreciate and need that. I had teeth that needed to be removed, but were very hard to get out. He stayed super patient and diligent and was calming and encouraging to me as well. A lot of dentists would have given up, said , oh well, and moved on. That's what got me in that position to begin with. So grateful he didn't give up. Dr. Edwards has been there forever! And grew up in his dad's dental office who was there for forever before him! One of my dental assistants said, she had been working there since Dr. Edwards was a little boy. Most of the ladies that work there have been there for many, many years. That speaks volumes. He is more affordable than many other Biological dentists also. I had a quote from a diff biological dentist and she was double the price !!! And they said, I needed a very expensive deep cleaning, that I didn't even need! And not even one on one. It seemed like she had others doing her procedures and they would just run things by her. Yikes. I didn't like that. Hint * SHE is a biological dentist in Ft Lauderdale. My experience with Dr. Edwards and his friendly, more affordable, office with nice views was great. I would recommend checking it out, if you need a Biological dentist . Peace & health. :))
WARNING: I do NOT recommend this doctor! He took $23,000.00 from me to cap my teeth and within 16 months I had issues. He said in writing in a text, he had no idea what was wrong. Several years later I have lost all my top teeth and need DENTURES! He now says I should have come back for a cleaning, yet he cleaned my teeth when I was there and it is a 5-10 hour drive to his office. I have my teeth cleaned every three months by a periodontist 10 minutes away. Three dentist, an internist, an oral surgeon and periodontist who I all see regularly, all agree the work should not have been done and big errors were made. "Holistic Dentistry," that Mr. Edwards advertises, is NOT recognized by the American Dental Society and now I know why! ....BE CAREFUL.
Dentist Edwards is a poorly skilled dentists. Crown done last year is painful. His office staff lack basic customer service skill and Christiana's presents is abrasive and down right rude. I have not experienced the "dedication to providing a good visit," that his web site suggest. Unless this dedication is afforded to a select segment of his clientele base. Being treated poorly is on thing. Paying for poor treatment is a totally different matter.. No Thank you, Ms. F. Blackwell
Dr. Edwards is very professional very well-educated he's playing me everything that I have in my visit to the emergency room I appreciate it very much his Service as a doctor and I hardly recommend him for the future to anyone that comes to the emergency room
I entered the ER in pain/ a mess. I'd left my medication in nyc & had 2 days to enjoy SoBe. I left Fla immed bc of Dr Edwards' profiling He reassured me he would get me feeling better I trusted him (going on 33 hours of pain) but it was a line. Instead of providing the same meds I take, he advised a needle. It rendered my arm useless, gave me headaches & dry heaves. He didn't treat my increased discomfort, only for which he'd be liable Dr spent 45 seconds w/ me. He was trite, condescending.
On return holiday from Tulum / a connecting flight in Miami, I chose to stay in SoBe but forgot my daily medication in my NY bound luggage.. After trying to deal with the increasing and extreme discomfort with hope it would soon pass, I realized the dangers of my choice and went to Mount Sinai ER. I was briefly treated by a very jaded Dr. David Edwards . Edwards is not a psychiatrist, did not ask proper history, and judged me Everyone is different Mr Edwards; treat each case with fresh eyes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
