David Mai's Online Review Report Card

Well, they wanted to charge me a $375 co-payment for an ingrown toenail... I clarified what I needed from the beginning and gave my insurance information, they told me that everything was perfect, then they made me go because I thought the cost was excessive. For the rest, everything is excellent, pleasant staff and a clean and tidy office.

Where do I begin? I had only heard great things about this doctor and boy was I wrong. This doctor only cares about how much he can charge and if his visit will be covered and paid by your insurance. I took my elderly mother based on reviews to see him. His staff couldn't get it together although she was very attentive and helpful but couldn't figure out the insurance. He refused to see her because he didn't know if he would be paid by Medicare and supplement insurance. I explained to him that she goes to the doctor regularly and there have NEVER been an issue. She was already in the room to be seen. He sent the poor staff member to tell me he would not see her unless they or me figured out what the issue is. COWARD. He apparently cares more about money that patients. BEWARE

He is an amazing doctor. He has helped me tremendously.

Dr Mai has been treating my husband for several years. He is very knowledgeable, goes above and beyond and provides thorough explanation that helped us feel at ease, knowing we were in the hands an actual physician that really cares about his patients and profession. He even exceeded our expectations and saw my elderly mother in law a few years back, and couldn’t have been nicer to her. Highly recommend Dr Mai to anyone looking for exceptional care.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Mai is the absolute best!!! He always explains all my options. I have had so many foot issues but under his care i have been able to rectify them! Highly recommended!

Doctor David Mai, is EXTRAORDINARY. 1. His personalize service and his team are exceptional. 2. His is an amazing surgeon. Clean, precise and very effective. I had an Aquiles Tendon repair, and I couldn't bee more happy to have chosen Dr. Mai. 3. His follow up is amazing. He really cares, and he will take you and guide you day by day thru the most important process, that is Post Surgery and recovery. I really recommend doctor Mai, and I'm writing this review, very grateful. If you are evaluating doctor Mai, CHOSE HIM!!

If you’re looking for an unnecessary surgery factory (6 a day,) to puff up your lawsuit, this sadistic, greedy surgeon’s practice fits the bill. If you want actual healthcare devoted to your best interest and outcome, go elsewhere. I suggest Canada.

Dr. Mai was thorough and kind. I was extremely nervous as I didn't have a good experience with a previous podiatrist. I saw Dr. Mai for a second opinion and decided to have the procedure I needed right then and there. Dr. Mai put a lot of my fears at ease and it was near painless experience. Would definitely recommend!
