Delores Macksoud's Online Review Report Card

The WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever encountered with my poor mother that can barely walk due to Parkinson’s disease. This office filled with inhumane customer service informed my me that they “cancelled my moms appointment and called her to cancel” when they never did. They then proceeded to tell me that my mom has another insurance that’s not covered by their practice when my moms insurance has never changed and everything was all set from her primary doctor and insurance stand point with all the referrals sent over and everything ready to go. I then asked to speak to the manager and they said the manager was not there, I offered to pay out of pocket because my mom really wanted to see this neurologist and they said they don’t accept out of pocket payments. Then I asked if there’s any other way to see her and they didn’t give us another option and told me “they have the right to refuse any patient” without any explanation. The manager then appeared out of no where and was also of no help, extremely rude and brushed us off. I can’t believe that’s how they treat their patients. Don’t waste your time!! They are inconsiderate and not compassionate at all.

I'd like to recommend this Doctor for anyone that is looking for a Doctor that takes their time in listening to her patients. She has the patience of an angel. She has been seeing my elderly dad for sometime now. She is constantly the same. She has been a blessing to not only my dad, but to our family. Her staff is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Macksound is an excellent doctor who treats her patients with love and compassion. I met Dr. Delores Macksoud more that 25 years ago when I took my father with Parkinson's Disease to see her. A few years later, she treated my mother who had Dementia. Less than 4 years ago, I recommended my sister to go see Dr. Macksoud . My sister was in such a serious condition that needed emergency surgery. It was Dr. Macksoud who made the proper diagnosis and referred her to a surgeon. In 2022, I became Dr. Macksoud's patient and referred my best friend to her. She diagnosed him with Alzheimer's Disease and he is now under her professional care. Dr. Macksoud has treated my loved ones and myself with love and compassion. Yes, I used the words "love and compassion" twice because when we go to her office we feel a sense of love and peace the minute we walk inside the office. Her staff is small but they do a great job. All of them are extremely helpful and every call to this office gets answered. A very special "blessing" to doctor Macksoud for doing what the Lord has call her to do. Her faith shows in the way she treats her patients.

I Recommend her! Professional -listens. During all my visits Dr. Macksoud listens to understand and is an educated experienced doctor. Also very considerate.

This office has the worst time scheduling possible. I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment, I was called and told to be in at 10:30 or as closer that as possible. I got there at 10:10 a.m. I sat in the waiting room till 11:15. When I was called in I was told that I still had an hour wait on the inside office. Second time it happened . I find that unacceptable. Especially during a pandemic !!!!!

Dr. Macksoud's office is the most peaceful, pleasant office I have ever been to in my life. Her staff is courteous, kind and extremely friendly. The waiting time is very short, and Dr. Macksoud herself is the only Neurologist who has decreased my seizures over a period of 41 years. I look forward to every visit.

She is very knowledgeable and actually listens to your concerns and questions that you may have and actually gives you a full blown explanation and goes far and beyond to make sure you get the best care. Her and her staff members are really friendly and pay attention to you. Best neurologist I've ever had in my life and definitely recommend her if you live in the Miami area.

My sister has been a patient of Dr. Macksoud for several years. She is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors that we've had the opportunity to know. Her staff Elda, Delores, Susie and Rose are very competent and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Macksoud to anyone looking for an amazing neurologist.
