Dessislava Boneva's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Boneva saved my life. I had appendicitis that was complicated by having a hernia in the way and the fact that I'm fat. I showed no common symptoms of appendicitis except for mild pain yet my appendix was infested and getting larger. Dr. Boneva was able to do the surgery without hurting the hernia which was no easy talk. I am beyond grateful to her and her team for saving me. She is extremely professional and a life saver.

I suffered an automobile accident back in May 28, 2019 wish left me unconscious and in bad shape. I was rushed to the ER trauma center of the Kendall Regional Hospital in Miami, FL, where Dr. Boneva was on duty. Immediately Dr. Boneva along with her team of doctors started working and later operating on me subsequently by the grace of God saving my life. Now a days I feel very blessed and healthy; I'm so thankful to God she was there that night, at the right time and at the right place. Thank you Dr. Boneva and Team, may God bless you this Christmas season and always!

Terrible bedside manners. She never came out to the waiting area to inform me and my sons that she couldn't operate on my wife because of her serious condition. We had to learn about it from a nurse who was obviously not at liberty to discuss the case. This was a total lack of professional courtesy with an anxious patient's family. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who has the freedom of choice which we did not have at the time.

Dr. Dessislava Boneva is a gift to the world! She saved my life!! Her skills as a surgeon are amazing and she is truly a good person. I had to have emergency surgery and felt like I wanted to die - the pain was so bad. Dr. Boneva was my surgeon. Her work was completely successful! After the surgery, she visited me in the hospital and followed up to see how I was doing. She is kind, compassionate, and listens to what you say. Also, the scar from the incision she made is very small and almost undetectable in some areas. You are in good hands with Dr. Boneva.

She did a tremendous job with my dad. My dad was feeling tremendous stomach pain for a few days. He refused to go to the hospital until the pain was unbearable. After an in depth examination, it was determind that his intestines had a hole and was leaking fatal fluid into his body. There were only two options, a serious operation at 90 years old or give him pain meds and let him pass in a few days as pain free as possible. Obviously the second option was not an option. Dr. Boneva They us this operation could last for hours to locate the hole. Dr. Boneva did the operation in a startling 45 minutes to our amazement. My dad had a full recovery in two weeks. Remember he’s 90 years old. She was extremely sympathetic to our situation and extremely caring with my dad. If I ever need any type of surgery, I would ask for her or go to where ever she’s practicing. She’s an amazing sergeon with very sympathetic bedside manners. You can’t ask for more from a doctor.

Dr. Boneva is an excellent surgeon. She is very professional, very skillful, has excellent bedside manners and very dedicated to her patients. She always takes the time to talk to her patients and explain their condition to them and to answer all of their questions even though she is an extremely busy trauma surgeon. She has saved so many lives and is praised by her patients and her staff constantly!! She is very passionate about her work. She is very compassionate about her patients and always makes them feel at ease no matter how catastrophic their condition is. She is calm under pressure. She takes the time to go see her patients and see how they are doing even on her days off. She always follows up on her patients. Extremely qualified, this surgeon knows how to handle any situation and surgery and is very successful in her practice. She has tremendous knowledge, education and skills. She has a heart of gold!! She is an amazing surgeon!!! When I have a challenging patient or a difficult case I look for Dr. Boneva’s opinion and expertise. When I am in need for surgery I ask for Dr. Boneva. Dr. Dessy Boneva, Kendall Regional Medical Center I was recently rushed to the trauma center at Kendall Regional. The Staff and specifically, Dr. Boneva saved my life!! They worked so hard on keeping me alive when nobody thought I would make it. Once I was in ICU, I got excellent care. Janet Portal RN was my nurse. She always had a smile and positive thoughts. I was terrified, but she always comforted me and helped me through it. Dr. Jose Rodriguez was such a caring Interventional Radiologist. He would listen to my fears and concerns and always reassured me. These Doctors are not only outstanding physicians, they are remarkable people, who truly care!
