I would like to make everyone aware of a nurse named Farrah Chutkan in the post-operation section on the 2nd floor. During our experience, we encountered a situation where assertiveness was met with an unnecessary response. It appears there's room for improvement in her communication skills and bedside manner. Similarly, we found Larry, the security guard, lacking in basic interpersonal skills, as he couldn't even make eye contact with us. We were also disheartened by the presence of said security guard along with a Miami Dade police officer in our child's room, who questioned our family members in a rather rude manner about their relationship to the patient. This entire Interaction happened shortly after our child had undergone major surgery, which made the experience even more distressing for our child! This overall lack of professionalism left a lasting impression on us. Given the severity of our experience, we feel compelled to mention that we will be seeking legal counsel to address this matter. Our intention is to caution others about our experience here, as it seemed that patients rights and respectful communication may not be a top priority. It's crucial to remember that as a parent, you are your child's advocate during medical visits and surgeries.

Terrible experience. From the moment we stepped foot on the premises. My son was scheduled for an MRI and then to be admitted. We arrived an hour prior to the MRI time, was just pointed in general directions to get to where we needed to check in. Each person blew us of and told us to go to another area. After being checked in for the MRI, we were moved from one waiting room to another. Eventually someone handed us a paper and told us to go to our room..upstairs, God knows where. After wandering around with no one willing to help, we eventually found the tower where we needed to be. Once getting upstairs, we needed to ask which room we were even in. What hospital makes you find your own way to your room? This was only after the MRI never got done and no one could tell us why. Once in the room, a nurse never even came in for hours. I had to get our own water and luckily had my own cup with me for my son to use. Bedside manners of many of the nurses and CNAs were terrible. Only a few nurses during our 7 day stay ever asked if we needed anything. I had to complain to management about 1 nurse because she told us that we needed to call her to relay what the Dr wanted to give for meds. After calling her twice, someone else finally came in and my son didn't get morning meds until 1245. She then gave night meds at 6pm, only 5 hours after when they are supposed to be 12 hours apart. And argued with me about it. Maybe 2 of the nurses we had were good, everything else about the experience here was horrible. I could continue with a ton more things that were unpleasant about this stay but I'll end here.

No le recomiendo este hospital a ningun padre para q lleve a su bebé muy mal servicio 😡 el de urgencias llegue al hospital con una bebe de 1 mes de nacida y llevo más de 2 horas esperando a q un médico venga a examinar a mi bebe y aun nada le preguntas a las enfermera y te dicen q hay un medico asignado pero q hay más pasantes realmente es una falta de respeto y una inteligencia médica estoy muy indignada

Una mala atencion no se lo recomiendo a nadie no venir se los aconsejo hace 2 horas estoy aqui y no me han atendido a una bebe de 1 mes de nacido prematura

Unethical staff, a lot of gossiping amongst nurses, no real answers, a lot of contradictions on records. All in all very dissatisfied.

Excellent Service!! The most kind and caring staff I've ever had. The cardiology Department has the Biggest Heart! Full of tenacity,dedicating and love for each and every patient. The psychiatric Department is Amazing! Thank You NCH!

We come from the other hospital because here we will be able to talk with a specialist, but after two hours they said the specialist is not available today.

I have never had a bad experience. I have 2 boys and been going with Dr. Riefkhol for 10years now my kids are 21 and 15 years. Hospital and Dr's. are very profesional, informatives, and treats us like family. Great job to Dr. Riefkhol 's office and ER dept. Thank you.

Estoy en el hospital con mi niña ahora mismo y no hay aire acondicionado en la emergencia de este hospital, de verdad que no puedo entender esto, entre el calor y mi hija sintiéndose mal, a mi me empezó a doler la cabeza, así que creo que vamos hacer 2 enfermas.

Horrible hatencion fuimos por emergencia y se demorar 2 en entrar
