What a shame that their office staff is so rude and unprofessional. After many years with them I finally had to go find another doctor. The doctors are great but sadly when you have an office staff with such poor customer service it’s going to eventually drive away the patients. Sadly this is my fifth encounter with dealing with their rude staff over different issues. It’s not a coincidence that this keeps happening. As someone who works in the health field, beware. From insurance billing issues with poor tact to handle situations and a lack of trying to help the patient to scheduling mistakes on their end which they then try to blame you for despite having email confirmations stating otherwise. They have such a lack of accountability it’s unbelievable.
Dr Smith I have been going to you for over 15 years. I trust you will all my health needs. Since COVID your practice has decline. To speak to a doctor or P.A. it’s impossible. I was sick I did a home test for COVID and it was negative Your personnel told me I need a hospital COVID test. I went to urgent it was negative and they told me I had a respiratory issue . Long story they sent me back to you . I paid urgent care and now pay your visit. Please work with us! Today I asked for an appointment for my daughter and they told since she hadn’t been there for a while she couldn’t be seen for a month. She is sick now. I am so sorry your care for patients has decline. Hope you read this and act differently
I booked an appointment 6 months in advance, but I moved out of Miami suddenly. One day I got a call from an automated system to confirm or cancel my appointment. "Press 9 to cancel". I pushed 9, the system says it can't understand. You go on an endless loop through this. I tried to call to cancel and the office was closed (saturday). The appointment came up and I was obviously not able to go. I am now being billed $40 for an appointment I was unable to cancel. Their phone system seems to be rigged in a way that you can't cancel your appointments. How convenient...... UPDATE They said I should have tried to call the office AGAIN to cancel my appointment the day of my appointment. The person who answered the phone argued with me for about 5 minutes then hung up. I called back, she argued again for another 5 minutes about how I should know computers fail, and that it's not their fault but mine (get a better system, when the computers go down for other companies the fault is theirs). She placed me on mute for a few moments, but when I began pressing buttons to make noise magically somebody answered. This person was able to reverse the charges and make a note that I would be unable to do so again. There are plenty of doctors in south florida, find one that hasn't forgotten that the word hospital comes from "hospitality". I didn't have high blood pressure before I went here.
The doctors and physian assistants are very good... Five star... Unfortunately the office staff is full with totally nasty, old bulls. Unsimiling generally nasty. Like they hate their job.
I’ve been going to Dr Smith for more years than I can count and always find him to be knowledgeable, concerned and most helpful. I enthusiastically recommend.
Katherine and Yvet they only know how to be gossips and they treat people badly and the manager protects them they are very good friends that's how they are mean and rude!!
Dr. Smith is who I seen he is very professional, cares about his patient and listens to all of your concerns. He made sure to my comfort me and calm me down, his staff is great. My over all my experience as a new patient was great!
This is not the first time that this office has not responded to my messages on their app and when I was called it was not by a nurse practitioner nor doctor
What A NIGHTMARE! I used this office a few years back,. ALWAYS had insurance (what Dr. sees you without Insurance?) and have always paid my bills. YEARS later (service was 2016) I get a Notice from an Attorney that I owed $100's of dollars for services. After, MUCH Stress to find all of the Insurance information from my Previous employer I finally got Proof of the EOB which amounted to my responsibility of only $88 dollars. I would have GLADLY paid Dr. Smiths office if they would have let me know. Instead they sent it to COLLECTIONS Attorney. Long story short, I got $88, a hole bunch of Fees that I had to Pay. All because Mr. Smiths office did NOT do there job. Yet, THEY HAD GOTTEN PAID! Avoid this Headache, Go elsewhere. ZERO STARS!!!! Is this Legal? Why should I end up with these Fees If I made NO Mistake?
I really like my doctor, but the communication with the office is challenging. I asked for a callback from the office manager, but so far i cant get one. I just want to understand what her service standards are fir the staff. If i am asking for more than what is reasonable, id like to hear that from her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
