She had a 5 minute conversation with my 9 yr suicidal son and suggested that he be sent home. Wepons be locked up and 24 hour supervision. Since it’s 6 months to see a psychiatrist I was told by his therapist and a child mental health hospital to take him in since he has been experiencing suicidal thoughts for 3 weeks. I begged for help. I tried to tell our family history of mental health and was asked why was I talking about myself. I asked for another opinion and she said that she was the only one and her decision was final he would be discharged. Never have I had a Dr dismiss my concerns and I hope no one else has to deal with this!
