Amazing oral surgeon! Very knowledgeable, explains like a professor, very kind and empathetic, makes sure you are relaxed! Would recommend without hesitation.
Highly recommend Dr Granda. I needed to adjust my cross bite and he did an excellent job with my maxillofacial surgery. 27 years later, Ive had no issues with my jaw. He is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. My two sons just had their 4 Wisdom Teeth removed by Dr Granda. He is caring and professional.
Dr Granda is a wonderful doctor and a great professional. He performed a maxillofacial surgery on me over 20 years ago to correct my cross bite. I have had no issues with my jaw since then. Recently I took my two sons to Dr Granda to have their 4 Wisdom teeth removed and we could not be more pleased with his care.
Dr. Granda is not only knowledgeable but he also takes the time to explain the course of action and has excellent bedside manners, which is very rare combination these days. When choosing a doctor for my children, experience is #1 but, comfort level is also a priority. My husband and I felt so comfortable that we scheduled the wisdom tooth extraction for the very next day after the original consultation. I highly recommend Dr. Granda to parents looking for a maxillofacial surgeon for their adolescents and/or for themselves. Important to also note that his staff is extremely professional and friendly - an additional perk!
I was referred to Dr. Granda for a wisdom tooth extraction with sedation. He said he could not do it at his office and referred me to University of Miami Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I immediately told him I did not want to go to a student learning facility because I had a very bad experience with one previously. He assured me that was not the case and the the Professors actually practice there and do the work. He also said he knew all the oral surgeons there, and any one of them would be great. Based on his representations, I made an appointment and met with Dr. Lawrence Armentano. I told him what Dr. Granda had told me. He advised me that he would not personally be doing the surgery because this is a student teaching facility. He said he did not know Dr. Granda, but he recognized the letterhead as Dr. Granda had sent many referrals to them. I then looked up Lawrence Armentano information on line and found he had only 1 review, and it was extremely negative. Based on that I decided not to have my tooth removed there. I sent a letter to Dr. Granda advising how angry I was for having to pay $176.00 to find out he had lied to me. He knew or should have known that where he sent me would be student dentists doing the work, which is exactly what I told him I did not want. I have asked him to refund the fees I paid to Dr. Granda.
Great experience the staff needs work but the doctor carried the game. He preformed the surgery without pain, and it was fast. Recommend this doctor to everyone.
I went in to Dr. Granda's office with severely infected and impacted wisdom teeth; he took great care of me! I ended up having all four painlessly removed with a quick recovery time. The doctor was very pleasant, and the office staff were also very kind and accommodating.
The doctor himself isn't a bad experience. Its his rude, condescending and low class staff that kills his business. He lost a client and recommendations. In his line of work, his staff should be chosen carefully with the appropriate etiquette for his upscale clientele.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
