List of Francisco Javier Baigorri's Reviews
Didn’t give us the time to explain the symptoms. Did not listen, he rushed a few comments and dismissed our attempts to explain the condition that brought us to him we were there, the visit lasted 3 minutes, after the 3 min. he left the room , said “have a good evening” and left as we were trying to talk to him. I never had a experience like this with a doctor. Very disappointed with the visit .
My son visit with Dr Baigorri lasted 3min. We have never felt like this after visiting a doctor. Absolute lack of interest in listening to the patient. He told us he had read his records, he cannot help us. He (supposedly) has IBS so he Recomended eating good (no reference to what food is good or bad) just eating good and exercise, then he left the room as we were asking a question, saying: “have a good day” and left. We really wanted to see him because he was highly Recomended by a friend. It was a huge mistake. Out of all the doctors I have visit during my whole life, none ever made me feel like Dr. Baigorri. I had to take the time to talk to him after the visit to let him know how bad he made us feel…. I don’t know if it was the worst day in his life to rush us through during our appointment the way he did it. I will never visit him again. It was unreal the lack of concern….and feelings… I am sad to have to say this about a doctor since my dad and uncle are doctors too, I know the stress they have and the long hours but that is no excuse to dismiss your patient without listening to all the concerns, a 3 min visit after at least one month wait for the appointment… sad
My dad was a patient of Dr. Baigorri's for decades before dad relocated to a new state. Dad suffers from several GI issues, including history of hospitalizations: twice for diverticulitis and once for GI bleed. The GI bleed was a very scary situation and thankfully we took my dad to South Miami Hospital where Dr. Baigorri was attending rounds. During this time, Dr. Baigorri was very attentive to dad and worked with a great generalist, Dr. Del Valle, who together put my dad in the ICU for three days until he recovered. MCVI could not locate the origin of the bleed and we had to wait it out. During this time, Dr. Baigorri was invested in my dad's health and we were able to walk out with dad in recovery. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to Dr. Baigorri for always having treated my dad with so much respect and care and I highly recommend him.
sadly went to see him because he was closer to my new home in homestead, fl. I was a patient of dr behar at gastrohealth since 2013. I didn't realize that i couldn't see another dr. at gastro. I tried to explain to gastro what a pill this guy is and i wrote a review - they idnored me and the staff at behar's office hung up on me. Baigorri did not let me speak. He kept interrupting me and I could explain my condition. He decided to prescribe a med that has side effects of causing an episode C-diff- of which i suffer from - he didn't let me talk. I looked it up and of course i didn't take it. I said i needed for him to prescribe my nexium - he said to get it from my pcp. he said "there is no magic pill." he's rude and full of himself. HE IS FIRED!!! I would never to back to this guy! now i get a follow-up form to call this office and i couldn't get thru.
IBS and Constipation seem to be the only diagnosis this Dr. knows. Anything beyond that you are expected to provide your own diagnosis and order your own tests. Stay away.
In addition to Dr Baigorii I spent time with his assistant JOSE Miguel who was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Took a lot of interest in my symptoms and concerns. Very knowledgeable with my health condition and and side effects of medication, highly recommend Dr and staff. Very pleased
I always have a great experience whenever I see Dr. Baigorri. The staff is polite and extremely helpful. However "Maria Gil" was amazing polite and fast. I wasn't even finish checking and she was ready to check my vitals. Great job Maria keep up the good work!
A truly wonderful and excellent doctor. He took his time with the patient, and was extremely knowledgable and concerned with their well-being. His staff is wonderful as well. I will recommend him for those who are seeking a gastroenterologist!
I was recommended by my daughter a few years ago and I've been very happy with Dr. Baigorri and staff. The doctor is very accurate on giving proper diagnosis and his very proffesional. I highly recommend him if your in need of a gastro. Thanks!!
I highly recommend Dr. Baigorri. He's professional and very sweet. Very acurrate in my Dignosis and if a medication doesn't work for me, he immediately recommends another one and he makes sure I'm up to date on blood work if I need one and he's just very helpful in helping me get better since I have a lot of constapation problems due to gastric by pass. I'm very happy to have found him, he was an angel sent to me by speaking g to another patient in the waiting room a couple of years ago because Before him I was seeing another doctor in the same office but I was not happy at all and he wasn't very helpful in giving me proper diagnosis and I was planning to leave the office until a patient in the waiting area highly spoke to me about Dr. Baigorri. I gave him a tried and here I am years later. But Dr. Baigorri is very patient with me and hears everything I have to say and doesn't rush me out of the room like most doctors do. Oh, he's also Bilingual and I believe he speaks more than just 2 languages. I have been his patient for about 7 or 8 years I believe I was in my early 30s when I started seeing him. He also doesn't like to keep his patients waiting in each exam room. I highly recommend him with open arms. Let him know u read my review in vitals so u will see I'm a real patient and not a Co worker or paid person or anything. My mom is also a patient who's over 65 and she's very happy with him too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
