I had the fortune of having cataract surgery with Dr Lacayo. It has been three years since this procedure changed my life. I always had very bad vision, now I can see and read without lenses or glasses. Dr Lacayo is very knowledgeable and professional. Two months ago I placed myself in his hands again because one of my eyes was constantly tearing , had complete trust in Dr Lacayo and again he fixed my problem! Will not stop recommending him to everyone, I am a fan for life!

What a terrible experience, desperate I went to see Dr. Lacayo. Six months ago I had multi focal implants in both eyes with a different Dr. After that operation I developed terrible headaches, and a minor heart attack due to stress caused by the pain. As soon as Dr. Lacayo came into the room, in a very rude manner he told me that there was nothing he can do for me because the eyes surgery were perfectly done and my headaches had nothing to do with the surgery and he got up and left, I left the place crying, because I didn't go to him to complain about the surgery but to find some help to ease the pain.

Dr. Lacayo is by far one of the best doctors I have met. My fiancé was diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is a progressive disease that affects his vision. Being in our late 20s, this was a shock to us as we had never heard of it before, and there was no family history of it. However, Dr. Lacayo made us feel more comfortable as he walked us through what the procedure would entail & what to expect during the recovery period. The day after the procedure, he called my fiancé to check-in on him and see how he was doing, which was shocking, but great! It is rare nowadays to see that sort of personal touch with Drs. My fiancé was able to mention how he had felt, and Dr. Lacayo assured him that what he was feeling was normal, and that it in a few days he would feel as if nothing happened - which was correct. It was truly a breath of fresh air to work with a professional like Dr. Lacayo. He was honest and kind, and we are so thankful for his guidance during this process.

I was referred to Dr. Lacayo by my by retina doctor. I was very impressed by Dr. Lacayo calming and friendly attitude. Dr. Lacayo has performed my first cataract surgery which went very smoothly. Next week I'll be having my second one. I am so thankful to Dr. Lacayo for making this situation a lot less stressful. By the way, I also want to commend his very friendly and professional staff. His office is extremely organized and are always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Lacayo for all of your eye care. See you next week Doc!

Dr. Lacayo is very experienced and professional. Highly recommend him and Baptist Hospital for the care of your eyes. He did my two cataract operations with excellent results.
