The dr is very experienced in type 2 Diabetes and obesity. However, I would never recommend for TD1 and unfortunately the endocrinology department in Lennar Center is very disorganized. The doctor didn’t know I couldn’t make follow up appointment before leaving and wasn’t ALLOWED to speak to nurse practitioner to make sure she knew about CGMs, had the capacity to communicate with pump and CGM, etc. Very disappointed!

Saw Dr at Lennar Medical center and dr wasn’t aware that my follow up appointment couldn’t be made there. I am not sure if dr works with Dexcom, CGM or Minimed insulin pump because I wasn’t asked to share codes or login. My last 2 endocrinologist always downloaded data from pump but it seem UofM is not experienced with latest technology.

Dr Jacob Ellis has always been very thorough very explicit in his explanations and has looked at all the different alternatives before he prescribes any medication, discuss it with me and explain the pros and cons every time I have been with him. It's been a pleasure someone that really cares and knows what he's talking about. Not only that someone that is willing to look alternative a new things and make me feel better and safe. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobelli's to anyone that ask

The most unprofessional Endocrinologist Dr because knowing may husband has diabetics and cancer he does not attend the proper appointments. My husband suffer from diabetic he needs periodically check the outcomes instead he does not care and gives faraway appointments and also cancels the appointments at the last time. Please we know you have more Endocrinologists specialist please give us the chance to change to another Dr that cares the patients Thank you

He was very knowledgeable and informative, providing a clear picture for me as to my conditions as a whole from reasons to possible treatments.
