2021 ...If I could give 10,0000 stars, I would!!!!! Dr Alonso went out of his way to care for my father...What doctor calls on Sundays if you are in need? Dr Alonso will!!! He is a great listener and that to me means everything!!! He works with you to address your health concerns. He will give sufficient time to the patient and the family as well! Falling sick in a hospital can be disturbing but if and when you meet Dr Alonso the journey becomes easy and comfortable... Grateful for the care my father received under his supervision. God bless! Thank you.

My mother has been a patient with Dr. Guillermo Alonso at his private practice for over 10 years, we are very happy with his medical care, he is very experienced and very easy to comunicate with. Takes the time every time we visit to talk to us one on one. We feel very satisfied with him, a real doctor/patient relationship.

As one of his patients I can honestly say he is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. Calls back right away without letting his patients wait. Very professional and honest- if honesty and professional treatment is not what your looking for than move on to another physician- that’s all you will get with Dr Alonso.

Horrible experience with this doctor as the internist at Coral Gables Hospital. I spent 16 days at the hospital caring for my mother, left messages with all the nurses and staff to please call me, called once on a Saturday morning, telling me he was told to call me. I asked for his opinion about my mother (at the hospital with a large ulcer on her lower back) he asked me if I had seen the wound, I said yes, and his response was, well then you can have an idea. Arrogant person, employees at the hospital say he is difficult to work with, no consideration with family members. I don’t recommend this doctor, to say the least.

He is arrogant, disgusting, for any little medical issue he sent my brother to Coral Gables Hospital. I tried to contact him many times to no avail. I do not recommend him at all. I think Coral Gables Rehab and Nursing center should re evaluate his services there. A medical license should be practiced only when you care about patients and families specially when that patient cant fend for himself. Also, he changed psychiatrist of his preference. Took that upon himself no consulting with relatives at all. Good luck to patients still under his review!

Do not pick this internest if your life depends on it He is rude does not provide responses to family members. And only wants to make moneywirh the patients. He will put your family member in Rehab even if it is not needed
