Simply the best there is. Highly skilled and treats every patient with respect and compassion. You never feel rushed and 27 years after your surgery he remembers you and your family. There really is nobody better. I trust him completely.

Dr. Shufflebarger has taken care of my granddaughter since she was 5 years old. She has infantile idiopathic scoliosis. He goes over and above. Even with her mental and physical disabilities, he talks to her and engages with her. She may not always be able to answer his questions which he is aware of, but he includes her in the conversations which means a great deal to her. There needs to be more doctors that care as he does.

Years ago we met with Dr S and knew that when my daughter was ready for surgery that we would return to Dr S. He has many years experience with scoliosis and genuinely cares about his patients. We feel so grateful that Dr S, along with his team, will be in the operating room next week.

Dr S. Was great. He was very upfront and told us that at this point no need for surgery and will check back in with our daughter in 6 months. Did not recommend PT and gave us percentages on whether it would even help for our daughter ‘s scoliosis at this point. We got X-ray first at St Mary’s - and waited about an hour to be seen by doctor. The facility seems too notch!

Twenty-five years ago Dr. Shufflebarger operated on my spine due to a severe scoliosis. Since then I have been pain free and was able to go on with my life normally. Now I am 75 years old, still pain free and still able to do everything. I recently saw Dr. Shufflebarger for a check up. I am so grateful to him for all he did for me. He is by far the best.

Dr Shufflebarger operated on my daughter for scoliosis in November. Her recovery was fast and the results are amazing. Her back is straight and she doesn’t have anymore pain! Dr Shufflebarger and his team were very informative through the entire process including the recovery phase. They were all very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr Shufflebarger is highly skilled and we couldn’t be happier with him and his team! So happy he was her surgeon. Thank you Dr Shufflebarger!
