Ignacio Cendan's Online Review Report Card

I don’t know what’s going on with Google, but I seen many well deserved 5 star reviews giving to Dr. Ignacio Cendan, that no longer appear here; including my own. Instead, I see a couple of underserved 1 star reviews, which none have to do with the doctor’s professionalism, and most of all, his known expertise as one of the best Pulmonologist in the great USA. Besides being a great outstanding doctor, he’s a great person and #1 student in additional medical classes, giving by another great Cardiologist as a teacher. I’m surprise no one saw him on the news, after saving another doctor’s life at Mount Sinai, when COVID was running ramped, and many doctors were afraid to even go to work. Dr. Cendan has been in the front line of COVID disaster, since the beginning, never taken a day off. Is unfair and of bad taste, to judge him for office personnel. The people that moan about this, must be living under a rock. They are lucky they are not living in a blue state, where they will really have issues with personnel and even at their local McDonald’s. The fact is, that the world has changed, many young people don’t want to work, big companies don’t answer the phone anymore; even the IRS doesn’t answer the phone. But, no one is blaming Brandon for it. You can’t blame Doctor’s for there staff, most doctors have groups now, to avoid the dreadful HMO’s. You will not find a better pulmonologist than Dr. Ignacio Cendan, he saved my mother’s life and many more lives.

Great Dr. But the office staff is horrible- they don’t pick up the phone. I guess too many patients.

Nobody picks up the phone - this office is totally unreliable and they make empty promises (if you get lucky after calling 3 days in a row). Horrible service Do not use!!!!

I am waiting more than 10 minutes for him to answer my call. This is the third time I have called and it is mission impossible to communicate with this Doctor. Are you really interested in continuing to see patients? Estoy esperando mas de 10 minutos que atiendan mi llamada. Esta es la tercera vez que llamo y es mision imposible comunicarse con este Medico. ¿En realidad le interesa seguir atendiendo pacientes?

Excelente servicio

Dr. Ignacio Cendan is by far the best Doctor and in this case Pulmonologist I have ever had. I was diagnosed at 21 with asthma and I alway felt like Dr. didn't listen or take their time with me. They would simply give me medicine that never truly helped. At 27 when my asthma got out of control and I started dealing with sever asthma exacerbations I came was referred to Dr. Cendan. I couldn’t speak well because of the exacerbation, and he patiently sat there and listened to my story. He helped me and took care of me when I landed in the hospital by May. He wrote amazing notes that show clear and detailed information of symptoms and action plans! He helped me get on Biologics! something I had never been offered! since I was always told that because I didn't show any allergies in the allergy test I couldn't even get the allergy shots! I'm just infinitely grateful to this amazing Dr. That is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also takes his time with his patients! and in addition writes accurate and detailed notes! Thank you Dr. Ignacio Cendan

In my 65+ years I've had NO better Confidant and Medical Professional better than Dr. Cendan. He actually sits down and talks WITH you. He usually leads you to good decisions and will offer honest and thorough evaluations and solutions. If you get an appointment with him guard it jealously!
