List of Indira Horst's Reviews
Unless this psychiatrist had a total transformation for the best, it is likely she will continue to see her patients once or luckily twice at the start. After that, expect this doctor never to come to meet with the patient for subsequent visits. Expect a resident to meet with the patient. Residents come and go because they are there on a temp basis until graduation. Expect to get an answer from the resident that she will relay her notes (mental notes because there are no notes taken in writing) when you ask "why isn't the psychiatrist meeting with this patient?" Expect days, if not weeks, for the doctor or her staff to refill prescriptions after numerous pharmacy's faxed requests. During the COVID 19 pandemic, there were only tele health appointments made, the doctor and her resident never called for an scheduled appointment as per the clinic's terms.. Expect this doctor to write you a letter terminating her services and giving you 3 months to find another doctor if you protest her conduct.
She works gfor a teaching Hospital and it is true that things are a little disorganized but., not because of her, it's de students who make sometime the mess and she always correct them. Now the doctor is not as a Teacher everybody feels that is her fault, however., she let every thing according to she need to give for the next person and nevertheless We the patients are living this abrupt change, Which this new person is not attending us and it is difficult to start off everytime you see a Doctor.Dr Rodriguez her right hand is the only one who are trying to do something for us.DR. Indira Hosrt is an extraordinary Doctor.

The reviews are pretty accurate, unfortunately. Dr. Horst and her associates failed to warn of irreversible side effects (tardive dyskensia) from the drugs they prescribed, and when I complained about the effects they were indifferent to my concerns, until several months in when symptoms worsened.
Pretty poor - doesn't show up; doesn't really care. Never calls back. I think she should lose her license. It won't change anything unless people stop going to her.
Dr. Horst is irresponsible and not a nice person. You will meet with Dr. Horst at least the first two appointments, and after that, the resident becomes your non prescribing psychiatrist, appointment after appointment. Dr. Horst will only sign the prescription. She did not call this patient for the telepsychiatric follow up appointment and neither left a message to reschedule the appointment knowing she has not seen this patient for 3 months. Some of her patients’ reviews in Healthgrades are bad. 3 patients graded Dr. Horst 1 star and only 1 is good. I do not recommend this doctor.
I found her irresponsible and not a nice doctor. She saw this patient the first two appointments and after that the resident doctor became the patient’s non prescribing psychiatrist with Dr. Horst just signing prescriptions. Due to Coronavirus guidelines, her office scheduled and confirmed a telephone call as follow up appointment. She never called (her office claims she did) and neither left a message asking to call her back (her office does not deny this) knowing she has not seen this patient for several months. Very irresponsible, uncaring, not friendly, rude and unprofessional doctor. I do not recommend this doctor. Healthgrade has 4 reviews of Dr. Horst. 3 are 1 star and just 1 is good.
I’m a registered nurse and she literally saved my life and I have no words to thanks her. She is very conservative and the residents that work with her are very good. I don’t understand why she get negative reviews. They take most of the insurances. When you go to a psychiatrist the most common thing is just have a 3 min talk and just leave with bunch of meds. Not with her. And she discovered why I was so sick. I had a severe hormonal imbalance that cause me to become simply crazy and lose six months of my precious life without functioning. She just brought me back!!!!!
She does not conduct the appointment, a Resident Doctor does. A lot gets lost in translation.
Typical careless pill pusher. They're very quick to give you pills but won't tell you about withdrawal symptoms or carefully taper you off them. Has a very biased and condescending attitude with patients

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
