If I could give this place 1 star horrible service my lil girl swallowed a toy n we had to wait more than 2 hours for the results and nothing i do mot recommend this place for a child or any kid

My mother had total knee replacement with Dr Jaime Carvajal and Keila Paulino ARNP at Jackson’ South UM hospital.From the first visit with Dr Carvajal he explained all scientific details about the procedure benefits risks etc. Dr Carvajal is very professional but very compassionate Ms Carmen Dr Carvajal’s surgical coordinator started the process by scheduling the surgery she gave us reassurance and made my mother feel at easy about the surgery. Keila the nurse practitioner helped to coordinate the entire process at the hospital flawlessly Both the Dr and Keila are very humble and made themselves always available through email and their phone lines. Excellent empathy and bedside manners. The nurses and hospital staff were very professional and friendly quick to answer and helpful. In general everyone did their job anesthesia Dr Pons nurses security officers and custodians. The process to get into the hospital was cumbersome due to COVID breakfast took a long time to get to the room in am. Lastly I would like to recognize Karen Davis RN and Osvaldo SolisLeon the physical therapist they were excellent . The entire experience was outstanding I will recommend this health team to anyone. Thanks to all of them.

exelentes doctores y muy profesionales el personal de informacion incluyendo muchas del personal de enfermera muy poco humanas poco compasivas con los pacientes que necesitan ayuda no se acercan a las camas a preguntar que necesitan los pacientes muchas debian dejar la profesion y dedicarse a trabajas en la carniceria del mercado cortando carne porque no tienen vocacion profesional.

While some areas of this hospital provide decent services I remain continually flabbergasted by the unprofessionalism and deplorable care provided by some staff. 32 hours without vital medication so far because the doctor hasnt come in yet. This will seriously set my loved one back. While a few staff members seem concerned others are very flip and no effort is being made to move the process. No this isnt the ER. This person in admitted. Shame on Jackson South and I will never allow a loved one to be admitted here again.

Hay que felicitar al personal dsd que entras por la puerta principal el trato es maravilloso..Me senti comoda y relajada apesar de mi situacion...solo una cosita que no me agrada es tener que hablar con un traductor por teléfono para que el médico pueda comunicarse..no es lo mismo que haiga una persona junto a mi es muy incomodo...por lo demas es excelente... La limpieza y la organización sobre la situación Covid19 muy buena...

My husband was take here by rescue for shortness of breath and admitted here for Covid on Aug 12 2021. He was fine and talking and alert for weeks. He basically just needed to get his breathing back on track. There were two nurses that were great with keeping me updated Johnathan and Chris from CCS the rest could careless. I know from speaking to other relatives and friends who have also had loved ones here recently for Covid that once you go here for Covid the trial medications that they give you shut down your immune system or cause other health issues which forces them to intubate you and then a few days later you’re dead. The hospital was calling me to fill out a proxy form on behalf of him and my husband was fine and could speak for himself at that time then a few days later he was intubated and then a few days from being intubated he died. My husband was young and healthy he never had any health issues prior to coming here and no underlying conditions. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I wouldnt recommend this community hospital to anyone not even for a bandaid. Even when I was speaking to the charge nurse in the ER to take him out of this hospital they refused saying that it had to be covered by his insurance which is a lie. Jackson South is very unorganized the nurses are overwhelmed and they think they can tell you anything I should have followed my first mind and took him to a Baptist Hospital.

This so called hospital can be and actually is as medically dangerous and arbitrary and as administratively corrupt and pathetic as they come and I and my case is more than witness to that.At the moment of the truth all they stand is absolutely on the other side of ethics honesty and integrity...all to hide the level of dangerous incompetence their functional incapacities are helplessly sunk in.Their doctors can be so ignorant and arbitrary that you wont believe...I had an experience there taken straight from that Oscar winning Hollywood film One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.Im telling you these freaks can be seriously dangerous. You know for regular or relatively normal cases the level of ignorance and inabilities may and will likely pass unnoticed. But when challenging cases rise...be seriously careful and fearful of this crazy terribly inept and horribly dishonest organization. And I warn you this is not a joke it may sound like it...it is not a joke.In another case...I got Covid 19 was taken their severely dehydrated and this so called doctor refused to test me for Covid 19 stating that my vital signs were that of an athlete and that therefore I did not have Covid can you believe this social Threat so called doctor?He released me into society with Covid19...thankfully I did take precautions since I knew that virus was deadly and quarantined myself...ended up also suffering sequels for some 8 or so months after the infection and...with minus but nonetheless lung damage as stated by the pulmonologist my personal doctor ended up sending me to...I also developed rashes among other things.But the funny thing is that that socalled doctor refused to test me for Covid 19 and relied on his ridiculous and preconceived or prejudiced personal opinion to diagnose me...again BIG SOCIAL THREAT that is.And when I filed a complain to their so called administration...they dragged me through so much painful burocracy disfunctionalities and tactics incompetent and straight out deceitful behavior for moths without end that I ended up realizing they were just not gonna do a thing...they were too afraid of the public relation catastrophic consequences if they followed through with professionality truthfulness honestyFixing the problem and admitting their incredible laughable and medically socially dangerous level of terrible inadequacies.I finally and forcibly quit trying to handle it through their so called system...rather a Facade Circus of extended Hypocrisy and Cynicism they call third party mediation... Total waste rather extra insult to the by then traumatized patient in this case myself...or anyone in such specific situation. The depth of their corruption ended up being helplessly more than exposed. Just kept running away from decency sincerity honorably healthy administration professionalism. They were just too afraid irrationally afraid of what in the end would have been the admission of their dangerous incompetence...this before an oblivious and seriously harmfully exposed general public.
