Jesse Pelletier's Online Review Report Card

My grandmother had her cataract surgery done by Jesse Pelletier. 1 eye was successful and the second eye was not successful. I give Jesse 1 star because of the horrible after treatment we endured. The complication with her second eye was so awful yet every time we came in for a checkup we had his assistants give us the wrong medication for treatment, or the wrong amount to take, or complete miscommunication with the staff. We suffer every second with my grandmothers problematic eye. It’s constantly hurting her and we are about to pay big money to try and treat their mistake.

I took my granddaughter for the first time because she has a serious problem in her eye and saying the staff is amazing isn’t enough there so kind and treat your like family the doctor is very nice as well he did a very good job!!! The front desk was very special for us they get a five stars with the family love they have I recommend them compared to other front desk lady’s in optomology

Exceptional doctor and surgeon!

I didnt see Dr. Pelletier but i was in his office and saw Dr. Lu? who told me I have dry eyes. Prior to see Dr Lu I saw his nurse for at least 30 minutes. A very nice person but she " grilled" me!!! WHAT do you call dry eyes? Does it burn or itch? I told her no and she said THEN you have NO dry eyes!!! I almost apologized!!! She told me I dont know what you have but you have no dry eyes!!! Who needs an MD when the assistant knows it all!!!?? she took my glasses and said i needed a new prescription.Then I was taken to Dr. Lu's office and he checked me and said:"You have dry eyes". I guess I felt intimidated because i wanted to ask him what do you let your nurse ( IF she is nurse) diagnose the patients? When I checked out there was a blonde girl at the front desk and i asked her what about my glasses the assistant/nurse said i needed new glasses.. she told me something but her hispanic accent was so strong i couldnt understand! so i asked a second time and a third and no i couldnt understand her at all!! YET my native language is french and English is my second language.. WHO hires those people!!! I really feel i need an apology.

The cataract surgery on both my eyes was done by Dr. Pelletier Jesse .The surgery was very successful. He is a very professional doctor.The stuffs in the office are very nice.

Did myself a disfavor by getting my eye examination and prescription for eye glasses. Upon receipt of my glasses prescription wasn't working for me (image was distorted and warped). It was my second prescription that I have made overall. So the specialist recommended that I visit doctors office second time to redo it. First one was different (didn't have cylinder in it for stigmatism). Once I called to set my second examination (with Dr. Pelettier) I was notified that the original first prescription has expired (by time) so it would be a whole new one. Upon me explaining the sequence of the event and my issue staff member didn't show no compassion for my issue and didn't allow me to speak with the doctor. I decided to come in and try to speak with doctor in person and found out that unless I pay for the visit and eye examination upfront I can't talk to him whatsoever. Highly upset with level of customer service. Unprofessional. And only care about you pay first and ask questions later. Had to leave with sour taste and seek alternative assistance. Won't recommend. Definitely my first and last visit to this office.

I visited Dr. Pelletier because of a problem with one eye. After 9 visits Dr. Pelletier remained focused on a dry eye condition I evidently had and seemed unable or unwilling to address the problem which had initially brought me to his office. Conventional testing with every visit followed by Dr. Pelletier explaining what conditions I didn't have while avoiding the one condition that required attention. After the 9th visit I went to different Ophthalmologist where my problem was resolved in 3 visits. Dr. Pelletier is a fast talking individual who possesses a very nervous affect and seemingly lacks the ability to listen.

I went to Dr. Pelletier for a specific problem with one eye. 9 visits later after multiple testing he informed me of all the problems I didn't have but neglected to even address the one problem I actually had. He talks too fast and too much and seems unable to listen. I went to a different doctor and my problem was resolved in 3 visits.
