Giving 1 star because I cannot give 0. 5-10 years ago (for anonymity), Dr. Benito’s poor care contributed heavily to the PTSD I experienced and still suffer from as a result of his. He repeatedly insisted I was lying about multiple things, despite not lying, no history of lying, and no reason to lie. In my opinion, Dr. Benito is not who you should send anyone to for any kind of medical care beyond light cases.

He knows his stuff and actually cares about his patients. I went through several psychiatrists until Dr. Benito treated me and helped me completely recover from the psychiatric issues I was having.

My experience with dr Benito is amazing he has been my care giver for more than 20 years and my family has him as the best dr ever also he is mental disorder dr, he provides his mental health therapies as each individual needs it to bad for those that have bad reviews for him cause you are missing out on a great DR …. Can’t wait to have him attend us on our next appt

Dr.Benito is probably one of the worst psychiatrist you could possibly go to. For starters his staff is incompetent, extremely rude, and unprofessional. Benito is barely in the office, he crams a weeks worth of appointments for each day he decides to work per week which are very few and schedules everyone at the same time so when you get to your appointment expect about another 10-20 people to be waiting around in front of the elevators since the offices waiting room will also be packed. Also good luck trying to get ahold of him or his office staff since they rarely answer the phone. Benito has no professionalism towards his clients, to him you’ll just be another number. It’s sick how he has people with mental illness just waiting around for hours to be seen and for him to make it almost impossible to communicate with is an insult to all patients who desperately need to see a professional during a time of crisis or need. This doctor has no respect mental health patients.

The best in Florida. Knowledgeable and a great human being. Well known as one of the top diagnosticians in his field. Very good psychopharmacologist. Highly recommend!

Ease of scheduling urgent appointments: Negative 0. You cannot get an urgent appointment at this doctors office OR get in contact, they do not pick up the phone no matter how many times you call. There is only one person, minus the doctor that works here. Lady will tell you one thing, then change her mind the next. Level of trust: 0. They wrote my medication wrong, even though I've been taken the same meds for years. Doctor is always on vacation, books a bunch of appointments all at once.

Short and simple.. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR. it will be your worst nightmare. I would mark no star if I could especially at ease of scheduling and urgent appointments
