Dr. Diego has so far been the best ID Doctor that I have been to. He's easy to talk to, stays up to date & current on treatment advancements, listens to questions and concerns and does a good job of explaining courses of treatment and reasons why he chooses one over an other. I don't think you could ask for more from a Dr.

Absolutely the worst experience with a dr we have ever had! Office/specialist visit billed as an "outpatient hospital" visit, even through appointment was not outpatient or at a hospital. Just another way to get more more $$ out of you, bc then they hit you with a "hospital/facility fee" on top of the visit. However, that was not the worst thing: Dr. Diego asked for films to review. Films were provided in same week. He never got back even after many attempts to reach via phone & email. Avoid!!!!

I was referred to Dr Diego by a Hialeah nephrologist when my kidney function became very low. He was instrumental in my care prior to transplant. I will always be very grateful to him for taking the time to explain my situation and stabilize my results prior to transplant. I recommended several friends and family because I trust him. He was very professional and caring. He is an extraordinary human being. Thank you so very much for your care.
