Jorge Marcos Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Marcos is a fine person. The challenge is his office staff. The office manager is professional when you are able to contact her. However, if you deal with anyone else get ready for a rude and inconsiderate awakening - the rudest interaction I have ever had with a physician’s staff. Dr Marcos should care about this and clean staff because this will lose him clientele and otherwise destroy the patient experience.

Dr Marcos is a fine person but his office staff is terrible (except the office manager who is professional but not always easy to reach). Today’s 11 am appointment (and I have an email confirming it) still has not happened and it’s 1 pm. When I called at noon to ask on timing, the lady that answered the phone was not only highly incompetent, but proceeded to scold me for wanting to know when my appointment would be and then began to yell and ultimately hung up on me. The office manager later called to try to rectify the situation but you can’t undo that experience. There are many good doctors available. I have dealt with many for me and family members. The experience with Dr Marcos’ staff is one that I would never wish for anyone, especially when medical help is being sought. It’s difficult to restart with a different Doctor but it is likely what I will do.

The Dr might be great, I don’t know because did not meet him, however the office staff is horrible. I made an appointment for my 88 yr old mother for 12/10 at noon, I tried calling in the morning to verify the appointment, no answer, I tried calling a few more times still no answer, finally I arrived at the location at 11:20 called several more times and would get the answering service , finally went up to the office on the 4th floor to be told that the doctor had an emergency and could not come(which I can understand, every one has an emergency once in a while) what I can’t understand is that I was never notified ahead of time, specially when the appointment was not until noon. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter that the doctor could be great if the office staff is not good. I will now be looking for another neurologist with a professional staff. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Primera vez en la oficina de este Dr.la espera fue de más de 3 horas para entrar y luego otra esperando en otra sala para verlo...Las salas de espera no tiene suficiente espacio ni sillas para la cantidad de gente que atienden, se les sale de las manos. La mayoría de los pacientes son personas mayores, Vi muchas en sillas de ruedas y enfermas esperar x horas!!! Me parece que eso no debería de ser así.. No tienen ni agua para los pacientes mientras esperan.El Dr fue profesional y envío algunos exámenes a mi hija. Esperamos a ver que pasará el día de los resultados... a esperar otras 3 o 4 horas! Que horror

Dr. Marcos was my mother Neurologist for many years. In my opinion he is a caring physician and I recommend him very highly.

The quality of care given by this provider is a true testament as an " act of love" towards humanity. Under his care Uncle, My mom and now me. Compassion, True quality of Care, while preserving the patient's dignity. Staff is very courteous. As to waiting times and exam times, Dr. Marcos dedicates himself to everyone who visits him allowing them ample time to communicate their challenges. Remember there is no cookbook solution to alzheimers or parkinsons. There is Hope for a CURE

Dr. Marcos is well manner and is consider with all his patients. He explains well and takes time in talking to the patient . I've been his patient for the past 12 years. Excellent Doctor .

He is so unhelpful and arrogant. Extremely rude, he honestly shouldn't have been a doctor, he doesn't know how to speak to people. It's kind of like speaking to a large animal. It was a very awful experience meeting him.
