This is my first time writing a review on google and this is what it took to write my first one: This doctor was AWFUL. My mother was seeking a new GI doctor due to her symptoms not improving and wanted a second opinion. I went online and saw that this dr had amazing reviews and decided to make an appointment for her. As soon as my mom was explaining her symptoms, Dr Ferrer Sr kept making faces and shrugging his shoulders. My mom and I kept looking at each other and when my mom continued to explain her other symptoms, he grabbed his phone and was scrolling on his phone and seemed uninterested. Then, he blatantly asked her “if you are taking the medication then why would you still have the symptom?” and I couldnt hold it in and said “well thats why we are here for you to help us determine that.” He got upset and threatened to kick me out of the exam room and called ignorant on how he interrogates patients. My mom told him he didnt want him to kick me out, so he kept me in the room but asked me to keep “my mouth shut”. Furthermore, he suggested my mom to stop taking a medication who shes been taking for 20 years. He said “then why dont you stop taking it?” and my mom explained her WITHDRAWAL symptoms and he didnt even know what it meant. He was confused to why she was having those symptoms when she would stop taking the medication, when its obvious she couldnt. He also thought my moms cancer medication was a sleeping medication. My poor mom came out so disappointed by such unpleasant visit. Maybe he was biased that we came for a second opinion, but the reviews did NOT match the person we saw yesterday. I don’t recommend this doctor AT ALL, and my mom will not be going back.

Doctor’s communication was excellent. Dr. Ferrer Sr. was very attentive and helpful. All my questions were answered and overall I felt very satisfied with his explanations, recommendations, and examination. Vivian was also great! Definitely I highly recommended this provider office.
