Today I had a very unpleasant experience in my first appointment in this medical office. I was scheduled to be seeing at 1:00 pm of 03/08/2021 and, after 1:15 hour of waiting, at 2:15 pm I was called into the examination room. After the initial protocol of taking the vitals and filling some forms, I was placed in my second waiting period, for another 1 hour and 20 minutes, just to learn that I have another hour-hour and a half of waiting as there is still a patient to be seeing before me. At this point, since my last meal was at 6:00 am, and considering I am a dialysis patient who received a dialysis session of 3:30 hours earlier today, I decided to leave without being seen. Terrible management of their patients’s time. There is not much else to say. Very disappointing.

When you make an appointment for the first time,you expect to see the doctor and not his assistant who is not an MD .

I just wanted to update my past review. Not only did Dr. Ramirez leave me to die with an abscess in my esophagus, now a few years later I have seen a GI specialist after continued problems, and it was found that the surgery bypass that Mr. Ramirez performed on me was not done well and was a stapled mess that was placed too high. I had the surgery redone last month by a real surgeon and I now feel wonderful. Again, if you are thinking of having this man, who seems to move from office to office a whole lot, perform ANYTHING on you, I would think twice.

His man performed a stomach surgery on me. In the process he punctured by esophegus. I was in the hospital for eight days. He couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I couldn't talk, had a fever and had a lot of pain. He sent me home, saying I had strep throat. I went to another hospital where they performed emergency surgery to save me from the abscess that had formed over my esophagus. The next six months were more of a nightmare. And Dr. Ramirez never appologized, followed up, just plain old didn't care that my kids would not have a mom if I had just gone home and died on my couch thanks to him. Good luck if you choose this man to perform anything on you.
