List of Joseph Henry's Reviews
Dr. Henry is a wonderful and caring physician. I only have a good things to say about him. I am no longer his patient since I moved but I would highly recommend him to anyone that lives in the area.
Avoid this psychiatrist. He is rude and uncaring. He responds to messages with anxiety provoking responses to a patient with anxiety. Simply asking for medication refills, his response was "totally insufficient information....I will only send in one month". His professionalism and ability to show concern for his patients is non existent. I do not recommend this provider to anyone.
I looooove him!!!!!
I had a first visit this year and decided to never come back. It was super fast, the Doctor doesn't let you speak much, there is no conversation, just take this pills and go. Disappointed.
Dr. Henry has been very understanding and has helped my mental health.
Dr Henry has been my psychiatrist for ovet 18 years. He is outstanding in psychopharmacology, esp in depression, bipolar, schizophrenic spectrum disorders and Adult ADD. He is considered an "expert" at med mgmt by his professional colleagues and, as such, can use extraordinary med regimens and combinations while working within FDA/DEA guidelines. He is perceptive and intuitive from the moment you walk in the door--detecting mood and mental status, but not making snap judgements w/out reviewing pre- appointment self-assessments and discussing your issues. Make good use of your 20 minutes as he has thousands of active clients and 40,000 encounters in his career history. Trained in Belgium and at Yale, he hones in on you like a laser beam. PS Be on time as he is also a professor at UM--annually voted the most popular in his specialty. There's a $50 charge for no-shows. PPS Ask him about his wife's magnificent book.
Dr. Henry is so knowledgeable. He is interested in his patients lives, with whom they interact, what situation they are in. This gives him knowledge as to why you are anxious, depressed or whatever your situation is. Psychiatry would be better if there were more like him. He keeps up to date with new treatments and education. He is sincere and upfront with his patients. Some may not want to accept his diagnosis but good luck to the nuts that don't want to listen.
I visited in 2010. His diagnostic was excellent
Terrible Doctor! He treats patients like they were animals. He is not professional. Terrible. I had to complain at University of Miami management. They gave me my money back.
Dr. Henry is thorough, knowledgeable, and confident in his medical diagnostic skills. I have never had any of the negative encounters that are described below. He cares very deeply about his patients, and is very passionate about the field of Psychiatry. I am very grateful to have him as a doctor.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
