Julio Robla's Online Review Report Card

Dr Robla and his staff are amazing. I’ve recommended him to others since even before he operates on my left knee during COVID and had me hiking in Sedona within 3 weeks and I was 45 at the time. He is simply as good as it gets. His staff, his PT team that helped me with rehab and his overall demeanor and manner of being. I’d have him operate on my own daughters if they ever needed it.

Great doctor, very caring and profesional! I recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Excellent doctor whom really cares about his patients and follows up to see how you are doing. Recently hurts my knee called the office and they were VERY accommodating in getting me in to see Julio. I would definitely recommend Julio and his office without any hesitation!!!

A Butcher.. Beware almost did Surgery on wrong arm.. No bedside manner. Only in it for the $$$. Stay Far Away.. In No way is this Slander, 1t is the Truth and I will stand by it. I never said you operated on me or that I was a patient of yours.. this happened to a family member and I am a witness....

Dr. Robla may be a good surgeon, but totally lacks empathy for his patients. My very elderly mother (in agony) was to have surgery and he wouldn’t allow her to stay in the hospital overnight. He even went as far as to tell us he WOULD NOT do the surgery if we didn’t take her home that day. We had to fight to keep her hospitalized (as she needed it). This was absurd and inhumane. I can only imagine elderly people that do not have a voice. What do they do when confronting doctor’s like him? Unbelievable!

Dr Robla and his staff are the most caring I have ever met. From before surgery, during, and after surgery they have been supportive and caring. His surgery assistant Monica is always happily available to answer questions. His PA Jason is amazing. I chose to do PT in his office and am extremely happy with the PT staff as well. I am very happy with my decision to choose this Doctor.

As a daughter, I was disappointed to learn from my mother of her experience with this physician. My mother went through a shoulder replacement with Dr. Robla, 2 months of therapy later returned for follow up care, in that visit Dr. Robla told her she was doing really well and to continue with the therapy, a week later she had to go back due to an excruciating pain and lost of strength in her arm. She says she left the office in tears today for the way the doctor treated her. When describing her level of pain and concern of her shoulder replacement the doctor was short, dismissive, and not empathetic, often raising his voice to the point of even said her face was not of someone who would be in pain. He ignored the symptoms and my mother was not allowed to speak. I was hoping for this to be an isolated incident, sadly after reading the reviews I see that is not the case. Seems concerning for someone who works with a large population of elderly patients.

I wanted to wait until 5 months after my total knee replacement surgery, to write my review, it was my only option to stop limping and get rid of the permanent pain in my knee, that's why I decided to have the surgery, I chose Dr. Robla and make no mistake, after the surgery, I had to work with his great group of professional therapists (headed by Danny) who, together with Dr. Robla, achieved my recovery, if someone needs a total knee replacement, I recommend Dr. Robla , the logistics of the procedure, the therapies and the follow up is excellent, thank you doctor for giving me back my normal life.
