Amazing dr
Dr. Bhamidimarri ruptured my spleen during a simple colonoscopy and landed me in the ICU for 4 days in 2019. After telling him i had bad pain during our post procedure conversation, he did NOT care to investigate to make sure my insides were ok and by doing so to be 100% certain i was ok to be released safely, he did not even order an ultrasound or ct scan. He instead, took a chance with my life and just sent me home. Come to find out hours later at the ER at Baptist hospital, after a ct. scan, I was advised byt the ER doctor that my spleen had been ruptured due to Dr. Bhamidimarri possibly removing the scope too fast or possibly due to inserting it forcefully and hitting my spleen. I bled throughout the night all throughout my abdominal area and down into my pelvis. Luckily, my life was spared because my blood coagulated and it formed a large hematoma. That is what prevented me from dying in my sleep. I went to the ER a few hours after this happened, since it was my first colonoscopy, i figured it was trapped gas from the procedure. IT WAS NOT! If you have pain after a colonoscopy, do NOT ignore it. That is NOT normal. Dr. Bhamidimarri knew this yet, he was careless and negligent and sent me home. NO i could not sue him. We are bound by signing our lives away when we sign the pre op documents. HORRIBLE doctor! I don't trust him. Not just because this happened, because doctors are not perfect, but because he was made aware by me that i had bad pain immediately after, and did NOTHING about it before i left. Pain after a colonoscopy should be a red flag that something is NOT right, yet he ignored it and diminished any possibility that something could have been horribly wrong. THAT is why i am writing this to make people aware not only that Dr. Bhamidimarri was negligent, but so that people understand to listen to their bodies and demand the care they deserve.
he never saw me but charged me $560 ... never got a clinical report (required by HIPPA law) which my attorneys will get for whatever he said he did which was nothing
I had a routine colonoscopy, and after the procedure, i complained i had severe pain and nausea, he brushed if off as no big deal. I went home with severe pain, the next day, i ended up in the emergency room and ICU after they did a ct scan and found that i was hemorrhaging and there was blood all over my abdominal area and my spleen had a large, thankfully, a hematoma which was caused by Dr. Kalyan Bhamidimarri rupturing my spleen during the colonoscopy. Dr. Bhamidimarri didn't care to confirm why i was having such severe pain after the colonoscopy. I was told to walk it off. I basically was bleeding to death while doing the walking. I could not even lay down as the blood was piling on my diaphragm. Luckily for me, my blood began to clot during the night. This saved my life as the area where the spleen was hit by Dr. Bhamidimarri developed the hematoma and therefore i didnt bleed to death. He should've taken my pain seriously and ordered an ultrasound before i left. Almost lost spleen

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
