The supplements Dr. Koffler recommended did not help. Some made the symptoms worse and Dr. Koffler had no explanation for that. She was unavailable for the follow-up for 5 months after the initial consultation and more than a thousand dollars’ worth of tests. To sum up: no improvement after the recommendations, the ethics and attitude were not up to a standard.

Dr Koffler does not accept any insurance. I find this to be unacceptable when being affiliated with the University of Miami. Charging students 650 dollars for an evaluation is a price only students of wealthy parents can afford. Follow up visits are also very expensive. The Osher Foundation five million endowment for the creation of the center was designed not to take insurance ? Dr. Karen Koffler is no doubt an excellent doctor in her field. It is sad that only students of very wealthy parents will be able to benefit from her years of experience. Prior to this position ,Dr Koffler did take insurance . United Health Care had her loaded in their system. I highly recommend Dr Koffler if you are wealthy

Her extraordinary ability to listen deeply and assimilate diagnostic information so that a course of resolution could be forged absolutely saved my life. I am forever indebted. She is now where I start looking for answers, and that has made all the difference!

I have never had a better experience with a Dr.. Dr Koffler listens to me, listens to what I feel and answers all my questions. She never makes me feel like what I say doesn't matter and always takes my thoughts into consideration. She is kind, patient, and an amazing Dr who has helped me feel so much better, finding root causes to my symptoms, instead of just covering ailments up with a pill.
