Karla Maguire's Online Review Report Card

I had severe preeclampsia but was in the hospital and being monitored and everything seemed relatively fine. Dr. Maguire came into our room and said she really just didn’t have a good feeling, so she wanted to do a csection. While I was in the OR being prepped (from what I've been told), it became an emergency for both me and my baby. Because of her intuition, we are both here and healthy. I can never thank her enough, and I owe her both mine and my sons lives.

Other than the long wait in the waiting area, to me Dr. Karla Maguire was professional. I had a successful VBAC in 2016 with her help.

Great obgyn! Very compassionate, great listener, and really explains how treatment choices align with your preferences. I was scheduled for a $1200 procedure and she explained I did not need it, based on my goals/preferences. She could tell I was a bit anxious, so she pulled up a research paper and explained all the stats/data to help me make an informed decision. She spent about an hour with me on my consult. Can't recommend highly enough!

She is so sweet and cares so much for you. Gentle and yet so professional.

NO ELIJAS a karla Maguaire como tu obgyn te vas a arrepentir como yo. Tuve la peor experiencia en mi embarazo con esta doctora, si es que se le puede llamar así, esta mujer nunca debió estudiar para ser médico puesto que odia su carrera no tiene vocación. Durante todo mi embarazo me hizo la consulta de pie apurada, es el tipo de doctora que no se conecta ni le importa su pacientes. Durante 7 meses pensamos que mi bebé era varón y me di cuenta de que era niña cuando me hice un eco 3d en un lugar externo, cuando la contacté para comentarle esto se molestó porque estaba de vacaciones y luego y me dijo que ella no aprobaba esos ecos que no eran en el hospital donde ella veía y sin ninguna consideración me agendo otro eco 3 semanas después. Efectivamente el eco del hospital dijo que mi bebé era niña y cuando nos vimos en la consulta ni me pidió disculpas ni me preguntó el nombre de la bebé sin importar que había ya a los 7 meses comprado todo para mi bebé varón tuve que devolver todo y perder mucho dinero ya que no tenía las facturas porque había pasado mucho tiempo. Sin ser esto suficiente al momento de dar a luz tuve una complicación donde me vi grave y estuvo en riesgo mi bebé tambien , llamada síndrome de help por supuesto ella no estuvo conmigo cuando tuve mi bebé por cesárea porque por el tipo de complicacion me fue imposible tener parto natural, llego al hospital 2 días después cuando yo estuve hospitalizada 5 días y apenas a los 3 días fue que me vine recuperando. 1 año después en el aniversario del año de mi hermosa bebé sana hago este review ya que tengo que hacerme el chequeo anual y jamás volvería a verme con ella, yo traté de cambiarme de doctora durante el embarazo pero por el seguro no pude. A quien lea esto le recomiendo 100% NO verse con ella, aunque crean que no puede ser tan mala si lo es!

Dr. Karla Maguire is a very sweet, caring, and respectful doctor. She communicate well with her patient's, and make the visit stress free....

If I could give this place not even a star of rating I would. I have never even gone to this place but I called this place and the woman who answered the phone was so rude and giving such an attitude that honestly I wasn't even going to waste my time going over there.
