List of Kevin Moore's Reviews
I used to have Dr. Moore when I was younger. He was there for my birth for my mom until I was around 12-13 old. He was okay. Until I was dealing with unhealthy habits of food when I was 12-13 leading me to anorexia. I went in for my checkup appointment. And to discover he was very concerned. But too concerned. He went so far to talk to my mom in the hallway, to tell her I was throwing up in the toilet and I'm sure all kinda of untrue statements I wasn't doing. I just didn't eat a lot and I feared gaining weight. Then he sent me to the Children's OU Hospital to check my body, and my private areas. I felt so ashamed, embarrassed, violated, and disgusted at myself. They didn't do anything to help my situation at all, nor was taught how to have a better healthy diet. I don't talk to very many people about my physical and mental health to this day because I fear going through the same thing again. . . I know some will wonder why I didn't stand up for myself. How would you expect a defenseless 13-14 year old child to by being forced from my will to go somewhere and be checked somewhere you don't want to be checked? He might've thought my mom was abusing me which if anything, she wanted to help me more than anything to get the best treatment for me. I'm 20 years old now, and I still have some trauma from the situation to this day that it makes it hard on me to trust doctors and therapists sometimes. But luckily, I have a great doctor now who wouldn't try to ever force me to do something I wouldn't want to do. She listens to me how I'm feeling, and what's going on with my personal life. I would not recommend Dr. Moore because he may to go extreme measures without thinking twice of how it may affect your child's mental health and well being. This is just something to considered before choosing Dr. Moore. . . He didn’t ask for an update. And me and my mom never returned since that happened. That wasn’t only traumatic for me but also for my mom too.
Absolutely one of the best Dr. I have ever seen. Dr. Moore took care of all three of my kids not just for 18 years but he finally had to kick them out at 21. They didn't want to go anywhere else. lol He is a great Dr. my kids loved him and now he takes care of five of my nephew and nieces. Excellent Dr.always made me feel like he really cared about my kids and ALWAYS explained everything. I would highly recommend Dr. Moore to anyone.
Been my son's dr since he was born - 8 years. And will by my next child's doctor. I have been told by other's "He's one of the best in the state" and I believe he really is! Always thorough and very good at explaining things. My son even LIKES going to the doctor. He thinks Dr. Moore is funny and always looks forward to seeing him. Never switching!!!
Doctor Moore has been our kids doctor for nearly 15 years. He's great. Smart, answers questions, spends time with the kids. Great bedside manor.
We have been going to Dr. Moore for 3 years. Before having my oldest daughter, my husband and I did interviews with several pediatricians. We fell in love with Dr. Moore from the start! He is just fabulous! He has been so helpful with each and every question, very sweet and gentle with the kiddos, and genuinely loves what he does. We will never switch!!!
My children have been with Dr. Moore for over 6 years and we are very happy with him. We have gone through some rough patches with our children and I always felt confident in his ability to provide good care for them. We continue to use him and will continue to do so. I strongly recommend him.
I liked him at first. My son had breathing problems since birth nearly and the only thing he would say is hmm, thats strange he sounds like darth vader all the time. (he was 4 mos at the time). he prescribed numerous breathing treatments including steroids and nothing did the trick. 6 mos goes by with out any guess to any solutions other than more prescriptions. he did 3 strep tests because he described this throat on 3 different occasions as looking like tomatoes with puss growing on them and ears like life savers. finally after the 3rd time he said this over the period of 4 mos i took him to an ENT that very day who told me after 5 mins his adenoids had been blocking his ability to breath out his nose since birth and he needed to have surgery ASAP. my 10 mos old went his whole life unable to breathe and 6 mos under the care of this doc, and he never thought of that. i'm sure he is a very capable doctor, my nieces even go to him but i have since switched and wont go back.
We have been going to Dr. Moore for over 8 years with both my children. We would not go to anyone else - as he has been there thru nursing both 9 mths, both had Tonsils and Adnoids removed, coughing issues and of course all the other fun medical mysteries. He is an amazing doctor and always there when we need him. The entire pediatric group is great - so if you choice one of the other doctors you will not be disappointed.
Very pro-breastfeeding. Will do anything to help a mother succeed in breastfeeding her child. Speaks at La Leche meetings. Offers natural treatments in addition to or instead of antibiotics. He's a wonderful doctor, always gets us in within 5 minutes of arriving at the office and returns triage phone calls himself most of the time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
