So grateful for this Doctor. Have struggled finding help for treatment of RLS, or Restless Leg Syndrome for 35 years, and it was Dr. Agarwal to the rescue! Not a perfect person (non of us are) but caring, listened and eventually prescribed the answer to my problem. Highly recommend this Dr.

Fortunately, this list of webmd doctors in Nanticoke Hospital is old... Agarwal no longer works there and hasn't for quite a while. Personally, I found him to be totally lacking in bedside manners and personal skills of any sort. He READS from a list of ills that can befall you if you have uncontrolled sleep apnea... talks a mile a minute... tells you what the alternatives for treatment are and then asks you, "So what do you want to do?" No time for thought. Just make a decision NOW.

Responsive, efficient and thorough in explaining my options for OSA. I met with him via tele-health and he was available in a timely manner -- unlike my in-town sleep medicine MD who (a) provides the same information and advice and (b) is only available by tele-health in November and in person sometime in 2022. Dr. Agarwal also knew about a new approach that my in-town sleep medicine MD had not mentioned. Dr. Agarwal was very responsive when I thought it over and decided to give it a try. I don't know whether tele-health is for everyone, but I'm knowledgable about my previously diagnosed OSA so Dr. Agarwal was a good choice.

I have been seeing the same doctors for almost 20 years. He recently retired. So I figured I would give this doctor a try and make my own decision. He would ask me a question and then would cut me off during my explanation. He kept saying I need a sleep study. I told him I sleep fine and don’t need one. Then when I check out they wanted to schedule me for a sleep study. He also wanted to change all my medications. He was not happy that my old doctor didn’t send him all my records, like I had control over it. I tried to tel him I filled out paperwork with them over a month ago. He just had no bed side manor. Just very rude and self serving. Guess I will keep looking for a new doctor.

Best doctor I’ve ever seen. Very thorough and genuinely cares. Great listener and the wait times were short.

It took him six months to find out I had gallstones, he kept blaming it on my weight or anxiety. I was in excruciating pain for six months and he finally ordered a ultrasound. Would not recommend to anyone.

I must say, I didn't like Dr. Agarwal the first time I saw him to review a sleep study. He is very blunt, doesn't listen well at all, and has very limited people skills. I did read that other doctors rate him very highly though, so I assume he is probably good at what he does. I will see him again, but this time I looked at my sleep study results BEFORE seeing him so that I'm a little more prepared to talk to him. I would bet he doesn't have much patience for fools.
