The VA assigned me to the care of Dr. Snetman for treatment of CLL two years ago. He has provided outstanding care and my condition has been maintained at a very great level. He has been very helpful advising me of the tests and treatment to keep my cancer at an acceptable level.

Very knowledgeable oncologist. After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I leaned on him to explain everything to me and help me thru it. When asked about getting a second opinion which seems like protocol in any life changing diagnosis his ego was hurt and he basically mentally checked out of helping me. The day before I was discharged we personally set up an appointment for the next day to start the chemotherapy and he literally went on vacation for a month. I was not only shocked but left to scramble and find another oncologist to battle the last stage of cancer. BE AWARE if this doctor. If you hurt his ego he will literally leave you to die. His staff is amazingly the worse in the business. They misplaced my leave of absence form that I had to practically beg them to fax. If you ever get the short end of the stick and have to deal with him or his secretary RUN!!
