I was a partner of Leonard Zimmerman for 43 years. He was a doctors doctor in a real intellect. Unfortunately, he just passed away because he wasn't proactive enough on himself not doing certain blood test I never want to say anything at all of the dead he helped a lot of people God rest his soul in peace

Dr. Zimmerman is a great doctor -- an astute and shrewd diagnostician who is both highly professional in every way and genuinely caring. His staff, too, is professional, responsible and efficient. For decades, I had had high blood pressure that was barely kept under control -- and sometimes soared out of control -- by high doses of no less than five medications. Distinguished specialists failed to recognize the cause. Dr. Zimmerman set about systematically and rigorously to determine the cause, ruling out out one possible explanation after another until he diagnosed the problem -- a malfunctioning adrenal gland -- that could be solved by taking a particular inexpensive diuretic.

Dr Zimmerman is a very nice man but my experience is very different than the 3 reviews posted. Recently I experienced some complications with my health and did not feel the support from him that is expected from your primary. It's good until you have complications. As a person very nice as a primary I suggest you look around.

Dr. Zimmerman had the foresight to give me a chest X-ray when I came in three years ago with back pain. It led to my quick (and early) diagnosis with lymphoma at age 30. I am forever grateful for his care and expertise and highly recommend him to anyone.

I can't belive there is only one review...He was my primary for 3o+ years and he helped me through alot. I mean, to start with hemoroids and end with hormones, poor guy has to put up with alot (plus I'm kinda crazy). Since I've left Miami a little over a year ago I know how caring Dr.Z has always been. He was always there for me and looking out for my health. He is a first class doctor. My new Dr. says come back every 6 months and I don't think she really caress. Miss ya Dr. Z. Wish you were still mine...
