When I first met Dr. Malvezzi, his warmth and care immediately jumped at me...As parents of a baby girl, barely 2 years old, needing a surgery, the emotional connection with the surgeon its super important. He performed a pulmonary sequestration and C-cam surgery on our baby girl. 4 hours of surgery. The longest 4 hours of our lives. Dr. Malvezzi was beyond words can describe. I hugged him so hard after our daughter's surgery that I thought he could not breathe. I owe him a world of gratitude. He is fantastic and very capable.

After receiving very scary news about our daughter, we got to meet Dr. Malvezzi and instantly knew that we had the best surgeon. Surgery was successful and she healed beautifully. Dr. Malvezzi has a gift and you feel it when you meet him. We couldn’t have been happier with him and his team.

My daughter was recently hospitalized and had emergency surgery and everyone from Dr. Malvezzi to the nurses and staff were all amazing and made us feel at ease. Dr. Malvezzi is an amazing doctor. He truly made us feel comfortable and explained the procedure in detail and reassured us our baby girl would be more than ok. This hospital is truly focused on children and their recovery. I must also point out that the volunteers were amazing! They brought so much joy to our daughter from playing board games to bringing in pets they truly outdid it. Thank you Thank you! God bless you Dr! Your support meant more to us than I could ever explain.

El Doctor Malvezzi a operado a 2 de mis hijos, una cirugia fue de emergencia y la segunda fue programada y en ambas ocaciones a explicado detalladamente el procedimiento con mucho profesionalismo,cuando termina la cirugia siempre va a hablar con los padres y explica como fue todo lo cual demuestra su calidad humana ante la angustia de los familiares,lo recomiendo al 100% ya es un excellente profesional y una persona maravillosa. El doctor Malvezzi es un excellente profesional ,el ha sido el cirujano de mis 2 hijos y en ambas ocaciones explica muy detalladamente el procedimiento y cuando finaliza la operacion se toma su tiempo para ir a la sala de espera para hablar con los padres lo cual demuestra su compasion ante los familiares angustiados,es un gran ser humano, Gracias doctor Malvezzi. My son had surgery for Pectus Carinatum. this was 11 years ago and to this day I cannot thank Dr. Malvezzi enough, he was caring, and compassionate. The surgery took 6 hours and all came out great. My son was the one that decided on Dr. Malvezzi after seeing other surgeons. Great bed side manner and connected well with my then 16 year old son.

Visited Dr Malvezzi for a consult regarding child's pectus excavatum. Dr. ran about 35 minutes behind scheduled appointment time and then seemed to rush into description of the corrective surgery with little more then looking. No measurements taken, no listening to air ways, ect. Doctor was also not interested in discussing potential alternatives to surgery. I felt like we were talking to a used car salesmen and not a doctor. I understand surgery is your way of life, but you should at least educate yourself on alternative and innovative treatments available to your patients.
