Dr. Limaris Barrios performed exploratory surgery on my husband for a intestinal obstruction at Mercy Hospital. He is 71 years old with a history of past intestinal issues making him a high risk patient. There are doctors and then there are compassionate, experienced and well trained doctors. The Miami community is fortunate to have the latter in Dr. Barrios. There are no words to express and describe our gratitude and admiration for all Dr. Barrios did both at bed side and clinically/surgically. Dr. Barrios is the rock star of general surgery!

El día 31 de enero , Dios me puso en las manos de la Doctora Barrios y definitivamente fue una bendición, mi operación fue todo un éxito. Recomiendo a la Doctora ( como decimos en cubano ) con los ojos cerrados para cualquier procedimiento que tengan que hacerse , gracias Dios y gracias a usted Doctora. BENDICIONES

Quisiera darle las gracias a Dios y a la Dra Barrios por mi salud las dos cirugías an sido exitosas, no invasive y prácticamente sin dolor y con una recuperación muy rápida, aparte de su nivel profesional tiene un gran don de gente para tratar al paciente y a su familia,el personal de su clínica es igual muy profesional responsable y amable De todo corazón en nombre de mi familia y mío muchas gracias

Dr. Barrios is kind and gentle. She treated me with utmost care and patience during my stressful situation. I highly recommend her if you are looking for or need a doctor who will sit with you and go over your plan of care in a detailed fashion without rushing. Dr. Barrios is the surgeon to go to. She is an “Old School “ doctor. I could tell she genuinely cared about my progress. She even called me after my discharge to follow up. As an added bonus, her office staff is just as kind, patient and caring as she is. I hope I never need her services again but if I do, I would not think twice about where to go. I have highly recommend her to several friends. Thank you Dr. Barrios, your kindness and care has meant the world to me.

I cannot imagine using a more caring or competent surgeon. She communicated with me before and after, many times. And all this happened WHILE she was moving office spaces. I am lucky that my Internist knew and recommended Dr. Barrios immediately. We were/are a good fit. I have another post-op appointment, and am following her recommendations to the letter. If I ever need her knowledge and skill sets again, I wouldn’t hesitate in using her. I would recommend her without reservation. And I thank her for her kindness, her compassion, and her expertise.
