Office staff is clueless. 5 lab orders written for the wrong lab and my last 3 medications could not get corrected. I visited the office and had a tough conversation with the office manager. She told me that it is my responsibility to check my medications and lab orders. Days after that Dr Abella sent me a letter telling me to find another doctor. Great idea. Don’t want to get killed by his staff.

The worst place ever. They were not professionals at all, specially the Doctor. It was a lack of respect the way he treated my grandma. He did not treat or consult my Grandma and they wanted to charge with the copayment. The Dr. was very rude with my grandma and my aunt. Highly recommend to look for another place!!! Patient care is a holistic service where sick people must be treated with respect, love, empathy, compassion…and very important to know how to listen to them. Thank you!

DON'T BRING YOUR CHILDREN AND MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT HANDICAP!After waiting 2-1/2 hours, actually going in for another 20 minute questionnaire, I was told that I had to leave my CHILD in the waiting room due to covid protocols, only the patient and 1 other person allowed in the room. Sooo...they couldn't just say that when we arrived?? So when I come out from my appt and my CHILD is missing, then what??? My husband needed to be with me as well because I'm HANDICAP!!!I'll add that the staff was very nice (even after I cursed them out), but apparently kindness doesn't come with common sense.

They have very bad service they never come the phone

Buenas noches, lo que comenzó excelente termino siendo pésimo. Para ser conciso después de recibir excelente atención y cordialidad de parte del personal me dejaron una hora abandonado en una sala de examen sin mayor explicación. El Doctor nunca apareció y al pedir una explicación solo me dijeron disculpe y le devolvemos el copago. Mala experiencia!

I recommend looking for another doctor. Abella himself I did not have a bad experience with, his office staff is the worst I have even encountered. The nurse practitioner working there is a Joke she said she couldn’t hear my heart mur mur while Abella and several other doctors said they did. So she said her diagnosis is I don’t have one, she seems untrained. It’s scary because she’s acting’s as a doctor in abellas place. I asked specifically for a appointment with abella and they made me see her again anyways. The office staff does not care about your time. I was turned away on the day of my appointment twice after showing up because they didn’t receive referral and didn’t notify me beforehand. Appointments were scheduled months in advance and not call beforehand saying they needed anything. Same thing happened to another person while I was there, seems they are not organized. Then waited 2 months to get results for stress test. Finally decided to call Abella, no answer so I texted him I had been waiting for stress test results for 2 months after trying not to bother him about how terrible his staff has been and received a text back with “results are normal”. Abella doesn’t seem bad but the rest of the place is terrible. Hopefully they can reorganized the office.

Mi esposo y yo tuvimos una experiencia muy buen con el Dr Manuel Abella . Quiero dar mi opinion porque lei un comentario y pienso que por una mala experiencia en una oficina medica no es justo que hablen asi . El Dr Manuel Abella coordino toda la operacion de mi esposo , nos busco medicos y los llamo el personalmente el y otra de sus Dras a quien tambien le agradezco la atencion que tuvieron con el , Ha pasado el tiempo y aun asi a pesar que las consultas son cada 6 meses porque son de seguimiento , la preocupacion de esta oficina medica nunca ha cambiado . Es un Dr muy preocupado con sus pacientes .Quise dar mi opinion para futuras personas que busquen un buen cardiolgo en el Dr Abella no duden en llamar a esta oficina , Gracias Dr Abella por esa ayuda que encontramos cuando lo conocimos y la tranquilidad que siempre nos brindo

I had a bad experience with Dr Abella and his team, my husband got worse since he went there, their customer service is really bad, they don’t answer the phone neither the fax, we found a good Cardiologist now, my husband blood pressure is normal, is always good to get a second opinion.

Toda mi vida e sido hospital administrador. Nunca en mi vida e experimentado un animal no se puede decir porque para mi los animales son sagrados es una bestia, no tiene educación ninguna a mi esposo lo mordió un perro y lo mandaron desde August a ver un Hand surgeon yo me pase 3 semanas llamando para un referral y me dijeron que la nurse practitioner tenía que verlo. Ella lo vio la semana antes de la visita de ayer y dijo la mano está inflamada pero no está negra. Fuimos a la oficina porque la nurse nos dijo que el procedimiento se podía hacer en la oficina porque el pertenece a un Elite program. Bueno cuando el entro a ver la mano de mi esposo enseguida dijo que lo refirieran a un hand surgeon algo que se estaba pidiendo hacia 3 semanas que 5 Doctores de emergencia lo habían referido. Pero el no quiso hacer el referido. Por primera vez me comuniqué con el seguro y les expliqué todo se puso una investigación. Ayer ese monstruo nos trató como si fuéramos perros el corazón de mi esposo trabaja 35 % y el tiene su poco de dementia después de tener 4 infartos y estar en coma 8 meses. El no le importo que mi esposo llego con la presión alta. Le pide a la muchacha que me estaba haciendo el referral que si me podía llamar a alguien para volver a tomarle la presión me dijeron que todas estaban ocupadas. Me fui y llame a mi abogado para que oyera todo lo que había pasado en la oficina que lo grave.

Considering cardiology is such an important and delicate specialty in which good communication, caring and follow up is needed, this office completely lacks the necessary qualifications in patient care. Appointment wait time is at a minimum of 3 hrs per visit plus the drive time, and I have had to wait up to 4 hrs. They will not see you if you are past 15 minutes late but they will see no issue in sitting you in a crowded waiting room in Covid time for HOURS. There is a charge for missed appointments as well. There is a chance you will be seen by the nurse practitioner when paying the copay rate to see an specialist. The office service is provided by what seems inexperienced young personnel who provide an extremely segmentent customer service experience for the patient. If you leave a message for the doctor, you may get a call back several days later or none at all. They raffle $100.00 a month for 5 star reviews on google which I find very unprofessional; as those reviews come out of a monetary interest and not a real desire to express a true satisfaction with the medical services.Do yourself a favor and find yourself a cardiologist with an office truly focused on your health, well being and patient satisfaction.
