I visited Miami recently (March 2021) and had a 1-session visit with Dr. Alvarez. The office was serene, clean, beautiful, and safe, complete with sanitizer and distancing protocols. Dr. Alvarez and her staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Having been with oriental medicine healers at home and during a visit to Beijing some years ago, I was impressed with Dr. Alvarez's care, gentility, and quiet, gentle manner. If you are new to acupuncture, or just want a "tune up," as I did, I give her my highest and most unreserved recommendation.​ What a joy-filled and wonderful spirit she is!

The healing care that Dr. Maria Alvarez performed on me today was life changing. Her healing talents, care, and expertise by far exceed any words that can be written. One must truly experience. I was not only treated but cared for in a way that revitalized my mind, body, and spirit. Her expertise in holistic medicine consisted of acupuncture, massage, and cupping. I could literally feel my body coming back to life. She was able to recognize many things that have debilitated me emotionally and physically for decades and treats them with laser focus. I felt amazingly different immediately. Not only will I continue treatment with her, but I should for my overall wellness. I feel that Dr. Alvarez is not only a blessing to me, but everyone she encounters. She was by far one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my life. I profoundly suggest her treatment to everyone. Thank you for my treatment, I am forever grateful! :)

She turned me away because she doesn't wear a mask. She told me that if I wanted her to wear a mask then I don't belong in her clinic.But she is displaying mask wearing signs both at the counter and and in the front entrance.Please do not advertise mask wearing if you plan not to wear one yourself.It was misleading.

Dr. Maria is amazing! I have only been seeing her for a short time, and this has been my first experience with acupuncture, but so far it has been a wonderful and transformative experience! I have been going once a week since January, and she has helpful me so much both physically. emotionally and spiritually. Dr. Maria is thoughtful and caring, and very in tune with her patients - it's like she can almost sense my needs or energy before I even get there! The treatments are amazing!

I spent several years with TMJ pain and tried every treatment available but could not see or feel any difference until I did acupuncture. The swelling in my face disappeared the pain became less with time. After my acupuncture treatments I was able to open my mouth again completely. Moreover, I have been doing body talk treatments that have kept me sane during the lock down, have helped me clear my mind in many aspects, and have helped me control anxiety.
