Matthew Brink's Online Review Report Card

DR. Brink is one of the best doctors that I've ever seen. I've had him perform several treatments and cataract surgery . Having glaucoma and being very nearsighted, Im very apprehensive about who I choose to treat my eyes. Dr Brink took his time to explain all posible outcomes of each treatment he proposed. Using his thorough communication skills , he reassured me that he knew what he was doing and had the experience to do it . He takes his time with you. He also gives you all possible options you have not just the one he prefers. I'm happy to recommend him as a professional of very high standards and an empathic human being.

Dr Brink is a Phenomenal Doctor who took great care of me. I was scheduled for an NPI procedure known as (Laser Peripheral Iridotomy) and to say the least based on my online research I was quite a bit nervous and anxious to say the least. That being said I had the procedure and there was absolutely no down time, no pain and he was so calming and gentle with amazing bed side manner. If you are in need of this procedure, I highly recommend him, and you have nothing to worry about being under his care. Additionally, the staff there is so professional and nice especially Kary at the front desk. Thank you once again for all you do.

I was referred to Dr. Brink by my optometrist to be evaluated for possible early glaucoma. Dr. Brink confirmed that my ocular pressure was borderline high, and suggested we try SLT to see if I could avoid having to use drops. Dr. Brink explained the benefits of the procedure beforehand, and what the process would be like. The procedure was successful in both eyes. Follow up visits have been encouraging, since the pressure has remined low and consistent, without the use of eye drops. I’m grateful to Dr. Brink and his staff for their treatment and service throughout this process, and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a glaucoma specialist.

I was referred for a glaucoma evaluation, but before asking me a single question or reading my records or test results, he pulled up my eyelids and proclaimed I have “Floppy Eyelid Syndrome” and was referring me for a sleep study because he was “certain” I “also have sleep apnea.” I have zero symptoms or risk factors for either one of these disorders. When I protested, he argued with me about my symptoms without any evidence and then told me “I just added ten years to your life; you should thank me.” The glaucoma evaluation after that was rushed and bizarre; he would make a pronouncement and then check test results to learn he was wrong, then change his assessment. He was right about one thing: he told me my primary doctor would think he was “crazy” for ordering a sleep study, and she did. Maybe this guy is great if you have a serious eye disease or are inclined to interpret mansplaining as confidence, otherwise not worth the long wait and cattle-call, patient-factory vibe here. Pass.

Dr. Brink is an amazing doctor. His personality helps you feel at ease. His knowledge on the subject of glaucoma is astounding. The words and body language used by the doctor are exemplary of the kind, caring person he is. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brink.

Dr Brink has excellent bedside manners . Professional honest and trustworthy. I was seen immediately with severe Occular Hypertension and treated straight away and monitored. He is also very patient .

Dr. Brink is an exceptional doctor. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain your eye conditions. He gives you the best available options. I had laser surgery with him on both my eyes and I am extremely pleased with the results. My condition has improved and I trust him with my ongoing treatment. I would definitely recommend him as your eye doctor!

Dr Brink is a very concerned doctor. He took care of my 91 year old mother in law as if she was family. He installed these implants for high eye blood pressure so she doesn’t need drops. They did an amazing job. Thank you Dr Brink
