Mercy Hospital-Radiation Center's Online Review Report Card

I went in for an issue I’ve been dealing with for years and no one could give it a name. In one visit they were able to test treat and diagnose my issue. I had gone to many doctors before and got no answers. The HCA staff were very attentive and listened to my concerns. I want to thank everyone who helped and cared for me today.

I called about some symptoms that I’ve had for a week which are non-emergent. They spent a long time talking to me and then without telling me what the concern they had was, they told me that I had to go to an emergency room. I have anxiety disorder. This was not news that I wanted to hear. I asked her why she refused to tell me this is a very bad idea to listen and hear all of the facts on somebody and then without telling them why they they may be in imminent death. You just send them to the emergency room so a doctor could tell them. This is very bad idea. This is just a solution for panics and none of us need that these days.

I got a ride to the this place, I was having severe lung pain. the lady who gave me a ride deside she wanted to be seen. not my problem. so because she was profiled as a pill addict, and she was my ride I was also treated like a drug addict. profiled me and did nothing for me and discharged me. I've never ever been a drug user of any kind. now I have to hire a lawyer because they treated me so bad and did nothing but treat me like a druggy. I'm 58. and this is the first time ever in my life of being profiled. this place is a joke. I went to my doctor the very next day, got an X-ray and now since they did find something I have to go back for 2 more X-rays and MRI. my doctor was very upset because they know me and know I'm not a drug user. so I'd say if you need to go get help, don't go there.

I came in by ambulance at 8:30 am on 11/19/2025. For an extreme asthma attack. The ambulance gave me nebulizer treatments and steroid. The HCA did not do anything for my asthma and i was still actively wheezing. They only gave me tylenol for a fever. And a random antibiotic but couldnt disclose what i was sick with. I asked for an RSV test and they told me NO because im over 18? I am severely asthmatic and have had rsv multiple times. They tested me for covid and flu. My results came back negative. I was out in less than 30 minutes. It is now 8 pm on 11/19/2025. i had to call ambulance again due to asthma attack and was put on cpap machine. I am now at cape coral hospital and being ADMITTED. And positive for Influenza A. When i have been SICK since saturday. So i should have tested positive at HCA. I feel extremely neglected by this facility. I would not be in the hospital & admitted if they had done there job fully and correctly. And provided me with adequate care instead of getting me in and out in under 30 minutes. I WILL be filing an official complaint against the doctor. She was more worried about me seeing a pulmonologist and getting on an asthmatic shot, then treating me for my symptoms.

this one of the most disrespectful unorganized hospitals I know of. they state this facility serves all ethnic social or political origins but in reality they could care less. especially w certain types of ethnic grips they charge outlandish amt of money for services that patients can't understand or afford. furthermore they're having patients sign documents after documents saying it's necessary but in reality they're stealing our money. then a patient tries to get a clear understanding of the bill certain malfunctions happen. I WANT JUSTICE FOR ALL!!!!

I sincerely appreciate the professional care I received. As a result, I will be making any future necessary appointments with Drs aligned with HCA Florida Healthcare.

If you need a life vest, good luck. The hospital has a reoccurring problem contacting a wrong phone number for this, causing delayed care. I have contacted them a number of times to correct this but months later they will call me again. If they leave a voice mail, I may not check it for days.

My sister had her baby at this place and it was such a great experience. The nurse staff, the doctors and the food serving staff (in special Robertha) were amazing. Kind and patient oriented

4 years ago today my father died at poinciana medical center. we were not allowed to see him, when I called to beg the house supervisor to let us see him, she said we could all see him if my mom signed a DNR. My mom refused and he died later that night. who does that? what kind of hospital does this?

I do not recommend this hospital as your nurse supports the death of innocent people. Will never go to this hospital again.
