List of MIchael A. Weitz's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Weitz since 1989. There is not one complaint about his medical treatment or his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Doctor who is caring and takes the time to listen to you and get to the bottom of your problem.
I am so impressed by Dr.Weitz. He is very caring he actually listens to his patients. He is very competent and takes his time to examine you. He is devoted to his patients and has helped me so much with his treatment. Yes you have to wait to see him but when he sees you you know he will give you his time which I know he gives to all his patients. I feel very secure to be under his care.
As a previous patient, I never had issues until recently. I called back about 3 months ago and was given an appointment for mid January. Mind you I’ve been suffering with pain since. They then had the audacity to call and cancel my appointment exactly a week before. As a medical provider myself, I have a booked scheduled and request time off as needed. This is completely unacceptable. I spoke to the Office Manager and was told they pretty much couldn’t do anything for me just move me to another date. Which again as a health care provider, I know there are ways around this. If you’re in pain, don’t go here. They clearly don’t care about their patients. It’s a same because the doctors are great but their staff isn’t. And the staff represents the doctor so I guess you can say “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
Excellent physician, knowledgeable and caring.
The best and I tried others. He listens to the patient. You don’t feel rushed out. He very knowledgeable. He is great. There is problems with the staff when you call the office. Dr. Weitz gives more than his all to patients. I don’t feel alone with this horrible decease. I am on good treatment.
Dr. Michael A. Weitz, MD Great caring doctor! This Rheumatology Specialist has been treated me for almost 2 months of 2021. He has a marvelous assistance & representative. Staff are loving and caring. COVID-19: clean office, check your temperature also they clean every room after patients. For the past 4 years I’ve been struggled. I used to be in shape do exercise with my family like walking, riding bike and an hour work out with my husband. Throughout the years I couldn’t even do grocery shopping. There was times I couldn’t walk! I was suffering with leg pains and other times I just fell out of energy and weak. I started getting worse after my procedure 2017 (partial hysterectomy). 6 months later I was driving feeling constantly weak, dizzy and getting muscle spasms on my right leg. I went back to my procedure doctor he put me on pills. I decided not to be on treatment after 2 months. In 2018 I ended up seeing him again complaining of numbness on both legs and gave medication and ran some procedure. He said I was healthy. 2019 ended up in the ER I couldn’t put my foot down because if I did it will cause a pain all the way to my back I had a huge swollen right foot. Few months later MRI I had (L4-L5 bulge disk). Few months later I decided to see chiropractor. I started feeling back in shape taking supplements doing and eating healthy.I got back on track but after 4 months I got worse. In 2020 I decided to go back to doctors and specialist to check myself because I kept getting worse I couldn’t drive & I couldn’t even cook. Couple times when I will try to walk down the hallway to the restroom my legs will collapse it couldn’t hold my body. I also attended physical therapy to do the right exercise for my body. It did help in some point in another’s didn’t my physical therapist told me that I was not doing well that I needed to try some other stuff and maybe keep checking myself there was some thing up with me. Throughout the whole year 2020 I’ve seen so many specialist for different stuff test. I came across a rheumatologist on my second visit I was doing so bad she gave me a shot she decided to run some bloodwork even though she had done x-rays and check up scans everything was negative. The bloodwork was positive for HLA-B27 and more. HLA- B27 is some type of arthritis. I ended up getting Covid It almost lasted two months with Covid because my immune system was low. Few months before I had done a pelvic x-ray and a pelvic MRI SI Joint and it was negative. I couldn’t take the pain anymore it was getting severe so I called my rheumatologist I couldn’t get a hold of her. I called my primary doctor (Dr. Robalino) she called in emergency rheumatologist doctor. My first virtual call with Dr. Michael A. Weitz!!! I explain to him that I was having tenderness and pain throughout my whole body not just my legs anymore. I started experiencing tenderness in my fingers and there hurting to grab or to open anything. It got to the point when I will try to open a bottle water my fingers will get stuck in pain then I started experiencing neck pain and I felt my head was heavy for my neck and numbed. Once I told him what I felt he had an idea of what I had put me on medication right away. Two weeks later I had an appointment with him because finally I was negative from Covid. He ran some blood work & some x-rays. Covid progress my symptoms faster throughout my body. twice the doctor had to switch medication because I will start with severe pain. Finally I saw him in person he gave me a shot gave me my results I was positive for Rheumatoid Arthritis. The Doctor and staff are loving and caring. I recommend them 100%.
I was sent to Doctor Weitz by another physician, so I called on April 13, 2021 to arrange a telehealth consultation. I was given an appointment for Friday April 23, at 2.45 p.m. I sat and waited up to 3. 45. p.m. and the promised telephone call never materialized. I then called the office to enquire if there was a problem and perhaps have a reschedule. I was placed on hold for an extended period. I eventually hung up. I still need a consult.
Yesterday, in extreme hip pain I had an appointment with Dr. Weitz. I was given thorough exams; his facility is highly equipped, his staff is Great, especially Stephanie who was very helpful and professional. Dr. Weitz has a Great manner: Highly empathetic, Very Knowledgeable and Experienced, and Very Thorough. He listened patiently, he explained everything about my condition and alleviated a lot of my fears, and the pain I was having. Today I am already feeling so much better after receiving medical advice from him, specific to my health issue, and prescriptions which were called in promptly by his office. I would give 100 stars to Dr. Weitz and his staff!!!
I was going to give an example but I’ll keep it simple. Don’t go to him. He gives the most convenient recommendations for him. A shot or a pill and then doesn’t follow through, give any time or explanations...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
